Reliable, Future-Proof PSU – Great for High-End Builds
Upgraded to the MSI MAG A1000GL for my gaming build after my original died, and it's been excellent. Fully modular design made cable management a breeze, and the compact size fit perfectly in my mid-tower case. It’s ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 ready, with a native 12VHPWR cable — perfect for powering modern GPUs without extra adapters. Runs quiet, stays cool, and delivers clean power under load. The 80 Plus Gold certification is a nice touch for efficiency, and the 10-year warranty gives me peace of mind. If you're looking for a future-ready, high-quality PSU, this one's a solid pick.

MSI does it again
got one used for 77$ including tax and it does the job well. hate the way RGBs look on PSUs so the look of this was great. Yet another win for MSI. Easy to plug your wires in, came with every cable you could want, fan works great, no noise.

PSU smoked and getting replacement will update.
My first PSU went up in smoke it was actually smoking so imminently unplugged it and sent it back getting a replacement if this one doesn't work I will have to either get a different one or different company all of my PSU's have been from MSI even my 4080 is from MSI I have had many MSI products it so far seems this one as well as other reviews are good mostly but there are a bit of ones like mine that smoke or have bad caps or smells burnt I so far would recommend but if this replacement doesn't work I will get a different psu from another company I also trust aka SeaSonic, Corsair, ECT. I will update this once I receive the replacement and test it. I do content creation this psu is for a server I'm upgrading and I have over 200k subs K2 ninja and twitch channel the_k2ninja

Works well, love the modular aspect
Power supply supporting my build very well. The fan is a little noisy, but I haven't bought a single power supply of any manufacturer that doesn't have the same issue. As soon as it's out of warranty, I'll replace the fan just like I've done with all the others.

Decent price for a solid PSU with a long warranty
Purchased this PSU as a first step effort to repair a freezing new PC build that was leaning on an older, excellent EVGA PSU that was well past its own 10 year warranty. While the EVGA PSU was ultimately not to blame, I did keep this MSI one on hand to keep vendor variety to a minimum on my MSI 870 Tomahawk build that was still giving me issues, and it was nice to have a power supply that natively had the 12VHPWR cabling available. I appreciate the modular design of this PSU, the only variety I tend to buy these days, and this one in particular has a much smaller footprint than the one it ended up replacing which affords more room during the cramped cabling stage. I do find it much more difficult to remove the cables from this PSU than I do others that I own, something that can be a bit of a pain when you're trying to remove just a single cable rather than the whole PSU to do so. While the warranty is amazing in length (10 years!), I can say from having to deal with MSI's warranty service for the motherboard, I'm not a huge fan of the process; primarily they're quite slow to turn things around, and will use the slowest shipping process available (not to mention shipping to them on your dime). There's also no Advanced RMA option (though that seems to be losing favor in general with companies). Contrast that with other vendors like AMD who sprung for overnight inbound shipping for me and used 2 day to send parts back and I'm hoping I don't need to lean on them for this PSU in the future. Overall though, I'm happy to have this more condensed unit in my new build and it shows no signs of trouble with my limited use case thus far. 3 Months Later: Fan already seems to be failing a bit; PSU still works fine, but the thing is easily the loudest component in my PC while idling...in a case where there are at least 10 other fans to compete with. A bit disappointed with it, though probably not worth a warranty replacement yet, assuming MSI would humor one at all for mere fan noise. Worth shaving a star off; this one pales in comparison to the now ancient EVGA PSU it replaced.
