Value for Money
Bought these to record a speech at an open day and combined them with the Neweer wireless mics and it worked a treat. The speech was crystal clear. Brilliant value for money.

Super cheap lav
This is a very cheap lav, but it sounds very good and will improve your audio very quickly. It does need to be used with a recorder or transmitter as the cable is only 1.2m, I’m using it in conjunction with a Zoom H1Essential and so far it’s working great. Even if it gives up the ghost after a short time they are cheap enough to buy again without too much pain, great for a hobbyist like me.

Sound fine but they're BIG !
Neewer CM5 Lavalier Mics. I realise these are budget mics so I expect some compromise. The sound is fine, maybe a little too bassy at the expense of less high-end detail but overall acceptable SNR. Seems well isolated from cable 'scratch' noise. Size-wise...these are huge! compared to a £50 Rode GO and a £200 Sony ECM77 these are over twice the size, and once the foam windshield is attached they are over 2cm wide. They work with most 2.4ghz TX units (Rode, Hollyland, DJI etc.) and also plugged directly into a DSLR. They are what they are, and in those instances where you think your expensive lavs are likely to get trashed these are acceptable alternatives, they'll just be difficult to hide.

Great set of lav mics
Great set of omnidirectional microphones, ideal to have in the kit bag. Depending on the situation sometimes just used with phone or DSLR camera (may require adapter depending of device). I have also paired them with the Neewer CM28 wireless mic set when shooting videos at a distance or for a smaller visual presence on the person wearing the microphone. Sound quality is very good for the price. Clip is sturdy and provides a good hold. Great to have a couple of spares too. Foam screen is good too.

Good quality of sound
I was thinking of buying a Rode Lavalier Lapel Microphone but it was expensive. I bought a pair of Neewer mic and used commercial interview video shooting, I love the quality of the sound. Worth the money. One negative thing is the cable of the microphone is a tiny bit thicker than I expected.

Sound is decent. Short cable
Sounds decent. The cable is very short, though.

Worked perfectly with my cordless mic setup
Works 100% well with my setup - gain is great and next to no noise or distortion

Avoid
It’s garbage, poor quality sound and cheaply made. Also too ‘fat’ to be discrete or usable, avoid!
