Miss Jones is my go-to vegan/gluten free frosting for my baking needs. If you’re not used to THESE ingredients, it may taste off to you. The first time I tried this a year ago I didn’t like it, I learned to love it, as I cannot eat any other types of frostings. This is a safer option for those of us with food allergies. I also love that it’s GMO free, and that they use natural ingredients/colors. The best way to get it softened is about 20 seconds total in the microwave. I highly recommend it. I had no idea this pre-made dairy-free frosting existed! My son is allergic to cow's milk and all of these years I have been trying different frosting recipes only to be disappointed in how they turn out. This was the first year I was able to make cupcakes for his birthday without stressing about the frosting lol And it was delicious! Definitely going to be using this from now on as long as it exists.

Great alternative to the regular frosting you'd get at the grocery store. That stuff is filled with horrible ingredients... this item is filled with natural, normal ingredients and it still tastes great! The texture is normal too. I like that it came with sprinkles that didn't have dye in them too!

I guess it’s possible that this tastes good relative to other vegan frosting on the market, but it certainly tastes horrible when compared to non-vegan frosting. I’m not vegan, but in a pinch I bought this because it was the only one available via Whole Foods Delivery. The frosting itself can be made easier to spread by heating it up a bit in the microwave. So I didn’t have an issue with the spreading. But the taste of the frosting was very disappointing. As others mentioned, the taste is extremely bland, and is similar to the taste of lard. The sprinkles included with this frosting were beyond bad though. I actually had to spit them out of my mouth, and then brush my teeth because of how bad they taste. Again…. perhaps vegan frosting in general doesn’t taste too good, and this frosting is on par or better when compared to other vegan frostings. But any non-vegan frosting is a million times better tasting than this.

This is good tasting frosting and went on very pretty however it is a bit salty.

I bought this because of a buzzfeed article saying it was amazing... not so much. I’ve only tried this flavor, so I can’t speak for anything else.. but it’s just- ok. Very sweet and the texture is really weird. VERY stiff... you really have to mix it well for this to spread without ripping the cake. I’m also disappointed because I bought this thinking it was nut free.. but if you read the fine print, only the cake is nut free- the frosting isn’t because it contains coconut oil. I was looking for something nut free to have an option for allergies so I won’t be buying this again. Especially for the price. Not a bad product, but just didn’t work well for me.
