Perfect!!
Replaced a pricey cover that A) was too big (my bad-ordered wrong) and B) was tedious to use as it was a zip up-complete cover type. This is perfect - just wanted something to slip over the top to protect from the elements. Easy to use - which means, you will actually cover your kayak every time it's not in use; prolonging the life & look of your beloved kayak. Of course, too early to speak to longevity but if it craps out too soon; I'm good about updating my reviews. But, even if I get only a year or two use; at the price point, it will have been a good buy. (BTW - it's covering a 14' tandem by Hurricane and I bought the 16.4' (suitable for 12.6' to 13.5'.)

I got the largest size for my 16 foot canoe and it fits it perfect. Love the color and the material appears to be of good quality; the sewn in elastic makes the cover go on and off easily and stays in place. It also looks allot sharper than using a tarp.

the price is right - the product however...
i bought 2 of these products because the price on the size i needed dropped way down.. after i received the item and went to put it on the first, smaller kayak i noticed how thin this material is.. i mean, really thin.. i knew this cover was too big for the first kayak but it's molding makes any cockpit cover impossible to put on, so i just wrapped it on there and used the tightening cord.. i just need something to help keep rain, but mostly critters out of the kayaks as both are stored on a rack outside.. the second kayak is 14 feet and the cord that you pull to tighten the cover on your kayak just wouldn't stay tight.. it kept loosening back up. i wrapped a few bungee cords around it so that the cover won't blow off as it now doesn't fit.. contacted manufacturer, they say they never heard of that happening, but i've read it in their reviews as well but took my chance given the price.Again, these were cheap.. and i have a feeling i'm going to find myself in a you get what you pay for scenario here soon... as for now they're keeping the critters out, though needing some tweaking.. i'm hoping they'll last a year, but i don't have much hope.. i'll update review if these get all tore up quickly.Edit: the seller sent my a replacement for the defective drawstring.. that replacement, also doesn't stay close - the drawstring is useless and unit needs modification to work.. therefore i simply cannot, in good conscience, recommend this product.

Great value nice quality
Received Culver's a was quite happy with the cover. I bought two and they fit great. Material looks and feels like quality rip stop nylon. With the elastic around the edges putting .the cover on was a snap. I expect it will last for a full season even here in Southern California. I have paid $130.00 for covers in the past that offer the same protection as this cover. For the money I consider this a great value. Not sure what folks are doing to be ripping them on the first use.

Ripped After 2 Months
Very disappointed. I purchased this cover for my kayak that is exposed to the sun for UV protection. I have had it two months and it is ripped right down the middle. My guess is that it is not at UV resistant as it is advertised to be. Even if I had to replace it after a year, I would not be disappointed but after 2 months? Consider another product.

Looks good, for a while, then rips easily.
So, this looked great in May when it went on my 13 ft Hobie Quest. Made it to November then just tore. No pressure on it, just went to straighten it and "zip" five inch gash opens like my hand was holding a razor blade. Definately NOT rip stop quality. FYI, I live in coastal CA, so this is not some winter freezing situation. This is just poor quality material. I have had inexpensive Costco/Walmart tarps hold up much, much better.

Fits, but sadly tore in two during major storm
While I gave it one star, it is not because it didn't cover the kayak perfectly, but because after two really bad thunder storms/wind storms, it was torn to pieces. I need a cover made of material that won't tear when we trailer it behind our car. Hopefully we'll be able to return it for either a replacement etc.

Low quality
Very thin material with a poorly cut pattern and low quality sewing. Toggle on draw-cord didn't work either. Sent it back.
