Kitchen snob LOVES this!
This was a gift for my husband who works in a kitchen. I originally wanted to get something handmade on Etsy, but took a look at Amazon to compare options. We'd been gifted a Milk Street knife a couple years back and appreciate the durability, so I thought I'd check the brand out again. For half the price, I found something way better here.My husband is one of those guys who tests a new knife by gently cutting some of his arm hair. And a month later, his little patch is still growing back! He LOVES this knife!! He went out and bought a watermelon just to use his new knife lol. Said the quality compared to expensive kitchen knives he keeps stored away so other employees can't mess them up. Following suit, he kept the box for this to store it alone as well. After two Milk Street knives, we are customers for life. The price is right and it's sharp right out of the box. I can't recommend this brand enough!

Great knife for chopping veggies, but not an essential tool overall
I have a decent collection of knives and wasn't in the market for anything new. However, I saw a video from Milk Street explaining the features of this knife, particularly when working with vegetables and took a leap.I mean, it's a perfectly fine knife. The blade feels well balanced, the handle is comfortable and secure, and it dues a great job slicing through veggies and herbs of all types - from tomatoes to butternut squash. No real complaints there. My only question is going to be how the edge holds up over time. Whether this knife has a place in your collection is really a judgement call - I look at it as a nice to have, but its a coin flip on whether I'd buy it again. That said, I'd still rate it 5 stars as it does it's job well.

WATCH OUT KNIFE
I saw watch out because this knife is REALLY REALLY sharp. I liken it to a razor blade. I saw Kimble advertise it, so I decided to try it. It is great.....but be careful with it. I keep it in the cardboard sheath it came in.

My favorite knife ever.
This and the smaller version are hands down my favorite knives ever. Light and ergonomic, easy to clean and great to work with. Great value for money.

Saw this knife on tv
As I was watching the cooking show from Milk Street on PBS, I noticed the chefs were using this knife. I purchased this for my chef husband’s birthday. He loves it because it handles well and is great at slicing vegetables. But be aware it is very sharp so I suggest you use a finger guard which you can also purchase on Amazon for about $5.00.

Decent knife
This is a fine knife, a little lighter than I prefer, but suitable for its purpose. Textured blade seems to work as intended too, keeps choppings from sticking as much.
