Good phrases and repetition
I’m trying to learn Chinese while teaching my 2 year old Chinese. These books have interesting (but simple) pictures, and the words are colored to match the picture. I also like the repetition with phrases (“Good morning rat! Good morning dog! Good morning cat!”) My daughter will bring me the books unprompted for me to read to her. I also appreciate the audio that you can download, since a beginner has a hard time with just pinyin. I’ve downloaded it onto my daughter’s Jooki so she can play it whenever she wants.

Simple and easy to read for beginners!
I was really excited to find such simple chinese books for my toddler! All the books that I saw were stories with really long sentences. I find them overwhelming my toddler with so many characters and not being able to focus on a set. I read one book multiple times to my toddler and he's already recognizing some of the characters!! He also finds the illustrations attractive to him. I'm really happy with this purchase!

Like Bob Books but in Chinese!
They are the perfect beginner books! Especially for exposing young kids to the language early. I took a few years of Chinese in school but never became fluent. I’ve been trying to expose my nieces to the language but most of the kids books I’ve found have been too advanced, too easy, and generally not great at keeping the girls’ attention. These reminded me of the bob books from when I started learning to read (which I absolutely loved) and are perfect for reading to my nieces who are 2-4. I expect that even after I’ve progressed to reading them longer more difficult books that they will be useful when the girls start reading themselves. The vocab breakdown, translation, and inclusion of idioms is so organized and helpful.I hope they continue to make additional levels soon. I plan on purchasing purchasing additional levels when I can.

Great for passive learning
My kids speak Chinese and I do not. We have one set of these books in the car and the kids look through them on the way to school. I think of it as a passive way to reinforce things that they may already know. Books are of good quality, and are great for smaller hands. My kids are 3.5 and 6y. They like to trade them back and forth, talk about them with each other, and my older daughter is learning to read the pinyin as well (she knows zhuyin).

Nice books
They could use a little more consistency in having pinyin and English throughout the books. Other than that I'm glad with my purchase. 4th star added since they have sound files.

Good way to expose my toddler to Chinese
Because I can't read many Chinese characters but can listen/speak at a conversational level, I appreciated that these books had the Chinese characters, PinYin and the audio for it. My toddler started with these books at 16 months and enjoyed me reading them to him and would also ask me to play the audio reading of them with my cell phone which was also a good way for him to hear a more authentic Chinese accent and for me to learn from it too. And to be honest, I also enjoyed being able to play the audio reading off my phone so I could have snippets of time to use my phone to check my email and news without my toddler asking me to see my phone as he was engaged in looking at the books. Probably after listening to the books 15+ times, my toddler has learned to turn the pages to the audio reading accordingly perhaps 50% of the times without any assistance. Also, my toddler loves to try to figure out how to re-insert all the books back into the box which he is getting better at which was an accidental toy for him.I'm still debating if I want to buy the 2nd box as I was thinking to get Sagebooks for him to really learn Chinese characters.

Good language learning tool.
10 books written in traditional Chinese with pingyin along the bottom, covering basic topics like numbers, colors, shapes, clothing items, body parts, etc. English translations are provided on the book covers. It's written in simple sentences that are repetitive and conducive to language learning. The pictures that go along with each sentence are also clear. (each page would be drawn in gray scale except the keyword/object. Ex., For "square" - the word "square" and its picture would be in color) I think audio is provided on a website as well. They give a QR scan for it. I haven't used that feature yet so I can't comment on the quality of that. I'm using this product to teach and motivate my kids to learn to read some Chinese and it seems to be working.

Perfect for little hands and beginners.
I really like this set of books. They have short and fun stories. I ordered the traditional set and my kids read it with their Chinese tutor, but at home we listen to the audio on the website. These 10 books are part of our “10 week Chinese summer camp” once a week ^_^ it comes in Chinese characters, pinyin, English, colored and black&white pictures.
