My daughter is 2 years old and she really enjoys playing with this. She loves using the little knife and chopping board feeling independent. The size is perfect for little hands. I think this could age range within 2-5years. I like how it’s nice and colourful with a big variety. Thank you

This set contains a nice selection of fruit and vegetables, but the plastic they're made from feels like it would break quite easily under pressure (eg. if an adult stood on it).Some of the items 'cut' lengthwise, whilst others 'cut' width ways. Some show an internal image of the food item, whilst others are just plain plastic which is disappointing. I'm also not keen on the fact the mushroom has spots, as this (to me) is a toadstool.They're held together by hook and loop tape which, on arrival, is very strong. Only time will tell how it holds up once it starts to collect fluff.The set also includes two chopping boards and two knives which are all made from a more flexible plastic. The chopping boards looked good - until I turned them over. The underside is hollow, so they don't have actually have much strength. The knives bend whilst cutting the food items if being held by just the handle. To stop them bending we had to hold them very firmly at the handle end of the blade which doesn't promote good habits.There is also what the listing calls a 'vegetable basket'. This is a soft plastic, but still feels like it will break in next to no time. It's also too small to have a real purpose in this kit, so I don't know why they bothered to include it.When I ordered this set it was priced as £7.99.As I write this review it's been reduced to £6.99.For the amount in the set either price is acceptable, but because of the quality issues I'd recommend this for occasional play (such as at grandparents house) rather than every day at home.

My kids have had hours of fun playing with this set, the food is plastic and in two halves held together by Velcro. The Velcro is strong and hard to pull apart so is actually fun for the children to properly cut the veg with the toy knife provided. The little chopping boards are cute, but the basket provided is poor quality and nowhere near large enough to hold the fruit and veg supplied. Apart from that the set is fun and interesting for children to play role play games.

When I got this out, it looked like something from the pound shop…thrown in a plastic bag with a cardboard topper…. but once opened I was pleasantly surprised.The basket is a token addition that is tiny and quite fragile, the chopping boards are small and thin, but the knives and fruit are made of a good strong plastic, , and the Velcro pads line up well and stick strongly.I have twin grandsons and as it came with two knives and boards, they were both happy. What I I did observe was that they gave up with the boards as they are so small and the fruit/veg kept slipping off causing frustration.I’ve knocked a star off for the packaging, and flimsy basket but actually this is a super set for a good price.

If I could give these zero stars, I would.These are made from thin, nasty plastic.The ones I got were poorly moulded and had multiple sharp pieces sticking out.They were unsafe so went straight in the recycling.A total waste.

So I didn't have particularly high hopes for these fruits and veggies before they arrived but (minus the very rubbish packaging and cheap little plastic basket) the items are BRILLIANT for the money. The plastic fruits and veggies are sturdy and the velcro holding each one together is very good quality and sticks well. There are decorations varying in intricacy in the inside of each item and overall its brilliant. The two knives and cutting boards are a a bit flimsy but the fruits/veggies themselves more than make up for it and the price point is great. I'm going to repackage these in a personalised shopping bag for the recipient and it will look a fabulous gift - ditch the packaging it comes in as that's cheap and nasty !!

This is a set of plastic pieces of fruit and veg which are joined together by Velcro and come apart when you chop them with the plastic knife included.As well as a large quantity of fruit and veg you get two little chopping boards also plastic, And two little plastic knives.I'm not keen on all the plastic, I actually thought they were made of wood as they they look similar to some we already have, I try not to buy too much plastic stuff for my grandchildren but obviously a lot of toys out there are made of plastic.If this is what you're looking for then it's absolutely fine, Little hands will be Able to cut through the fruit and veg, joining you in the kitchen while you're making food.It's a good pretend play set, helps build a child's imagination and the hand eye coordination skills.

These cutable fruit and vegetable are loved and used daily by my little boy, as he is slowly using them to develop more skills.He can get a little frustrated because hes only little and the Velcro that connects them can be a little bit strong and take a little extra effort to "cut" them.They are very sturdy, speaking from experience of them being thrown everywhere.They are easy to lose and the main downside is that there isn't anything to store them in.Perfect, and go amazingly with his little kitchen.
