I don't often write reviews, but felt I had to after reading all the other one star reviews here. I COULD NOT DISAGREE MORE. This thing is a tank. Granted I'm only into my second winter using it in the North East (Portsmouth NH), but last winter was brutal, I bought this snowblower at the tail end of that winter and it was a life saver. This year it has been solid and reliable too. I guess I got a good one, but whatever. Either way, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It'll be hard to find this much snowblower for that price anywhere else.

Still waiting for snow to find out IF it works as good as it looks! As for the toll free number for customer support supplied with it,just make up your own number and call as often as you want,you can't get anymore frustrated than trying the one they give you! Never got one ring,went straight to busy signal! The website is as bad.And the book that comes with it has NO clue as to what to use in the EMPTY auger--impeller gear case--or how much to put IN!!! You have to make your own dip-stick to try to judge the amount of gear oil lube you are putting into that case,as it has NO way to show how much you are adding.I used Marine Grade 80w90 HYPOID 90 API --GL-5 compatible Gear lube by CRC --part number 06441---designed NOT to corrode brass or bronze ! Later, I found out by calling a number in Texas they recommend synthetic but never told me how much to use! Said what I did would work just fine! I also trusted the engine dip stick for the amount of oil in the engine.Price was good.Assembly photos are bad.Hard to make out whats what.Have both metric AND standard sockets and open end wrenches ready.Comes with two but you will use other sizes.One cable was not on the pulley and had to partly disassemble to route it back to where it was supposed to be.Fired right up after priming,moved as good as a new one should.Black friday saw one similar for fifty dollars less.Hope I have no issues as you are on your own after you buy one.

Piece of junk! Has never worked right. Stalls, and auger doesn’t turn. Had a company look at it and they said the inside parts were intstalled incorrectly and everything was loose. They tried fixing it but there are still problems. Haven’t been even able to use it through one storm yet. A rip off and waste of money! Just called the engine phone number and the company for that number said they’ve never heard of DAYE and it’s not one of their products! 😡 This thing is impossible to get working. A full refund should be issued!

Engine is completely shot. Ran over a news paper and the cranks bend and complete totaled this machine. Tires were an issue and it was heavy/unmaneuverable.

purchased this as a birthday/xmas gift for my daughter and son in law........they live in minot north dakota.......she has 8ft of snow in front yard.......this unit cuts right thru the drifts and all

If and when anyone decides to purchase I would recommend checking into the free shipping first. We live in the outskirts of town and after ordering we found out a 56 ft. U-Haul truck (semi) was going to deliver to our home which would be impossible d/t small dirt roads and hairpin turns let alone pulling into our driveway so BEWARE. This was discovered after the purchase therefore being our problem with U-Haul. Fortunately we did not have to rent a trailer or a vehicle that pulled a trailer and thank goodness we are not 90 years old therefore capable of picking up the machine in a grocery store parking lot in our small town. I think the mode of delivery should be written somewhere because this definitely may be a deal breaker for some. As for the machine itself we have not had to use it yet (thank God) but my husband put it together with ease and it appears to be a nice machine so far knock on wood. The shipping is the reason for the 4 stars and lack of use. Hope this helps people decide. Have had time to use the machine of which it appears to be an OK snow blower but needed an impeller and found we have NO warranty and no place to get replacement parts because the company DOES NOT EXIST. We were able to fix it ourselves thank God or take a loss. So be prepared if you buy this machine you are totally on your own. Also contacted Amazon to no avail. There was nobody to back us up or get parts for it. From now on we will stick with our brick and mortar stores in lieu of depersonalized online shopping where nobody gives a darn after they get your $$$.

Please stay away from this company.I bought this snow blower and I can't use it.The belt keeps coming off.By now it is out of warranty so I am out of luck. In 2 winter's I used it twice.
