I first bought this antenna for my 2017 Silverado. I got it for car washes of all things. I got tired of removing my antenna before the wash. I recently traded it in and completely forgot to take the antenna with me so I ordered a second one of these. I think they’re great. I still get some radio stations, but I don’t really listen to the radio so it doesn’t bother me.

Suggested in a truck forum and it does not disappoint. 8" hasn't lost any radio signal or stations switching to this. If you are in a very rural area you could get the longer 12" to be safe.

I just bought the truck last month and to be honest, I didn't even notice that it had a whip antenna until I saw an ad for this stubby. But once I noticed it, I couldn't unsee it, so I ordered this immediately. Since I had one of these on my old Jeep Wrangler, I knew what to expect and this one didn't give me any surprises. Install took about 45 seconds, and it looks much better. I haven't noticed any appreciable difference in radio reception, but I live in a metropolitan area, and I barely listen to broadcast radio anyway so maybe I'm not the best judge. I also went with the 12" version so I can't comment on the performance of the really short ones.

Improvement to my last shorty antenna. Had 2020 High Country with competitor model and bought a 2025 High Country and tried this brand…arrived the day I bought the truck and sounds terrific. Better quality!!!

It looks good and I can put my truck cover on without worrying about making a hole in the cover. The only difference from the antennas, I did lose reception range with the short one.

So far, so good! I really like the look and functionality of it over the OEM.

Very good antenna. Easy to install.

Very easy to install. The little rubber gasket, just place that over the stem -v- placing it on the actual antenna base. Much easier.
