AutoSky Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto AI Box Lite Plus 2.0 for Wired CarPlay Cars - Supports Netflix and YouTube

I recently purchased a 2016 Volvo XC90 and purchased this product as the software update to add android auto to my vehicle is no longer available. It had apple car play but I am not a fan of apple products, I've been using Google pixels ever since they came out. My pixel 8 pro connected easily. If you're already familiar with Android auto it's extremely simple. The product works absolutely wonderful and usually connects faster than my cars standard Bluetooth. No complaints. It's about double to cost here as it is on Tik Tok but I still fear most items on Tik Tok are counterfeits. This item is legit and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely TERRIBLE... DO NOT BUY. I would say a solid 80% of the time the device will not connect to my phone. I can be driving for 10 to 15 minutes before the device even connects.

I have a 2019 Avalon that only supports Carplay... and an Android phone. So far I basically just used bluetooth to connect to the car and did everything else on my phone screen (mounted slightly below the actual screen). I didn't like it, but I guess I like Apple even less. On family trips my wife just plugged in her iPhone and we used that.Enter this little device.I plugged it in, it kinda booted up, needed to restart once for some reason and then I got the device's OS first - nothing special, but has music and some video streaming that you can use if you connect it to some wireless access point. But to connect my Android phone via bluetooth took less than a minute, and it gives the full wireless Android Auto experience.It's not perfect (the device boots up after I start the car, so the connection isn't immediate), but it's fast enough to not bother me. And finally having my maps and everything else on the screen is absolutely worth the little wait.An absolute game-changer.I've used it the better part of a week now and I had one disconnect that quickly fixed itself. I hope that doesn't repeat... apart from that it's perfect, I even unpaired my phone from my car now because why would I ever want to connect to that again directly?

Love the Autosky, Is does exactly what it is intended to do. A little delay while on a phone call, kinda annoying but all else is great.

This item works ok, but, when you try to switch your radio from it to FM or Sirius, it causes the screen to hang up on CarPlay. The only way to get the screen back to the car radio is turn the car off. I corresponded with a support person from the company. Initially, he seems eager to help, asking several questions, but could never seem to understand my English enough. When I answered, again, his last question he ghosted me and now I’m ready to return this item. Definitely do not buy this!

It was pretty glitchy. Sometimes wouldn’t startup at all and I had to reset it. When it worked though it was fine.

Set up was easy. Haven’t fully tested but appears to be a good buy. Installed in a 2025 Chevy Blazer.
