Perfect fit BUT you need to buy the O-ring and gasket separate.
I bought this to replace my SP710RX50 valve. You have to buy the O-ring and Valve gasket separate to match it. Pulled up the old valve gasket out of the manifold (it was glued or very old and stuck in place) and then put the new one in with some Jacks lube and it is working perfectly. I will update if anything changes!

Perfect replacement for the old one that cracked.
I does the job, and spares the job of reconnecting all the pipes to a new filter head. I thought that this part would have come with the oring. Had to get one at the local pool store, as this part requires a thicker one than the old one (circa 1995). Also, had I known before I would have lubricated the shaft but you can't find out until it is reassembled. I'll do it the next time I have to open it.

Worked perfectly with new gasket
I had some issues with our current valve, and this one, along with a new gasket and some appropriate lube, went in easily, fit perfectly, and didn't leak.
