These are fuss free
I love making my own sausages as they are so very much better and tastier than any supermarket buy (and on par costwise with their 'best' offerings) but really hate the faff and smell of natural casings. Decided to try these and am so pleased I did.No faff, no smell, work straight from the pack, long shelf life, fry well and are great in the freezer.

“CUT SHORT”
The skins were so simple to use compared with the ones you need to soak in water, however, as can be clearly seen from the attached photo; one skin was approximately 23 feet long. Well short of the 40 feet it is supposed to be. If they had been advertised as 3 x 25 feet I would have been really happy with them. I have spent a lot of money with Tongmaster as I buy nearly all my sausage and burger items from them. I will now be looking elsewhere as I hate being LIED to.🤬Now, after cooking my first batch of sausage, and the skins bursting open, as per attached photo, I am even more unhappy with the product.

Great for making my own sausages at home. As long as you don’t overfill your sausages, these casings won’t split.

Dreadful, unusable & not 120ft
These casings came & all but one of the packs were short, containing half sized tubes. I don't know if the pack with the long tubes actually has 120ft in it.I sacrificed one of the short tubes & measured it, it was 16' 4" x 3 tubes per pack = 49' 2", no where near the120ft listed.Contacted Amazon as the return claimed the item could not be returned for some reason.Amazon organised a replacement order. These came but were again packs with 3 short tubes, contacted customer service again & amazon gave me a refund in full without quibble.Fantastic customer service.While waiting for some real hog skins I thought I'd try out one of these collagen skins, all went well until next day when I fried up a couple of sausages, the skin shrank to less than half it's size, squeezing the meat out either end, leaving a tight 1/3 band of collagen in the middle.I've never used collagen before so didn't know what to expect, but of all the video's I've watched, they didn't shrink like that.All that order of collagen although turned out to be free, thanks to Amazon, are in the bin.
