These colors are great, and they are bright and vibrant. I thought at first there wasn’t much gouache in a cup but the cups are really deep and I’ve realized I don’t have to use a lot of paint for the color and consistency I’m trying to achieve. They are fun, easy, and consistency is great. Price is great as well. I was pleasantly surprised, especially not wanting to spend a lot on something i didn’t know if it was going to be good. Cute and easy case. Gave me a lot of inspiration. I would say they are above student quality. A great product for the price! I love them.

The colors are great and very pigmented. They are pretty easy to use. The only thing is that with Guache the littlest amount of water will make the colors bleed. But I really like it.

I bought this as a birthday gift in March. My 13-year-old granddaughter has absolutely loved it. She is not sharing her paints with anyone. She has said that I can paint with her. lolI would not suggest this for much younger children. I think the 9-year-old could use it and love it, but I wouldn’t go younger than that.The paints are vibrant, dry quickly, and have worked on lots of different materials.

Purchased this as a gift for a young artist - she said that they are perfect texture and a great variety if shades.

This is a great set to try a new medium, but be aware that keeping it moist is key to having good results. However, moisture can lead to mold. I bought the cleaning spray from Himi to help combat it and it's been okay so far. I do wish that Himi had a tubed version of this paint but from what I can tell this is student grade quality paint designed for classwork/tests in China. Hence the packaging. Easier to tote/set up and affordable!If you've never used gouache, this might be a good product to try it out!

Rich color. Can be watered down. Love how they are stored.

Bought this for my son. It was his first time using this paint. He was obsessed after the first use. Highly recommend!

After watching some fun Pinterest videos of gouache artists my son expressed interest in trying it. This brand was recommended by one of the artists so we decided to purchase and try. The quality seems good, though we are novices and don’t know anything else so can’t compare, but my son found it easy to use and follow along on the videos he watched. I do love that this paint is so easy to clean up when you’re done and washes easily out of brushes. He is still working on learning how to blend without the colors getting too muddy. But I think it looks beautiful and that it’s a great value to start with if you want to dip your toe in experimenting with this medium. The variety of colors is also a big plus. I love all the options.
