Never thought I’d love a travel cup as much as this one!
Often times, I find that I don’t have a cup at hotels (I’m not willing to use their glass for sanitary reasons) or I have found myself needing a cup other times. This thing is amazing and has saved me several times! I use it as a sipping water cup in hotels, sipping cocktails on a plane, drinking wine at my hotel, and more! The bot has a really sturdy, hard base and two rigid rings in the middle and the top of the cup that provide stability and rigidity when you pick it up. It doesn’t squeeze when you pick it up, nor does it spill. It is, by far, the most ideal travel cup I’ve ever used! All the others collapse and don’t have integrity in their structure like this one does. Also, it’s super lightweight and collapses into a tiny footprint. I’ve already given one as a gift and will be giving more as gifts. The only two nitpicks I have about it is 1) you cannot put it in the microwave, but you can put it in the dishwasher; and 2) it doesn’t come with a lid or drawstring bag to keep it clean between uses.

Does NOT Fit Toaks 95mm Pot
The cup is great, excellent even, it just doesn't do what I hoped it would. I had to buy it to find out, but the older cup/mug was beloved for its tight fit inverted on top of a Toaks 750ml pot, with the 95mm diameter rim. This cup DOES NOT fit on top of that pot. It may or may not fit on one of the 80mm diameter rim variants - I don't have one to test it on. The rim of the cup is rigid and does not feel like it would grasp onto any pot, but perhaps if the pot diameter nestled into the upper silicone flexible portion it would work. If you don't need to use it in that very niche way, it's a great cup! The rigid rim gives stability to an otherwise flexible, ultralight, compact cup. It packs down small. You can take it generally anywhere you need a small container.

Great purchase.
Bought for my backpacking trip. Got 2 in case my partner wanted to use one as well. Well worth it. Easy to clean, fold up nicely and lightweight. We were able to have hot coffee and oatmeal and it didn’t burn my hands. I highly recommend for people looking to have creature comforts and save space/weight in their pack. I can see this being great for beach trips/ children as well as hiking trips

Better than my TOAKS TI cups!
These collapse down to about 9/16" tall. The silicon melts at about 600F. The Silicon will keep hot foods hot and cool ones cool. Unlike my TI gear, these are far better for hiking.

Does not fit inside the Petrel G3 pot.
Works fine for what it is. It doesn't fit inside the Firemaple Petrel G3 pot, it's the same diameter.

Quick to use, no leaks so far.
Perfect small form factor cup to keep in your travel or hiking bag. Takes seconds to collapse or expand, I use it for travel and I has not leaked yet. I like these cups for airports instead of bringing water bottles that become another item to carry.

Works for hot and cold and has measuring lines!
This is a great little cup. I bought one to take backpacking and I was pleasantly surprised. It's good for hot and cold beverages. I didn't burn my hands on hot tea. It also doubles as a measuring cup. I meant to draw lines on it so I wouldn't have to bring a separate one, but it was already marked! I doubt this will ever wear out either. It's solidly constructed and quite light weight. 10/10!

Good size and improved design
This is a review of Sea to Summit's Frontier Ultralight Collapsible cup. I remember the first time I used a rubber collapsible cup for backpacking - it was such a cool invention because it meant I didn't need to use my pot for coffee or carry an additional cup. Most early iterations of these cups are made solely from silicon material. This one improves the design in two important ways. First, the size is generous. The older versions of this cup were smaller, barely enough for a cup of coffee. This one is the right size for a big cup of coffee in the morning. The second improvement is the addition of hard plastic ring segments. They make it more solid structurally, as well as making it easier to fold back up. The purely silicon versions get harder to nest back together after you use them; the alternating heat and cold must mess with the shape. Adding the plastic rings also has an unexpected benefit - you drink from the plastic ring, and your lips don't have to wrap around mushy silicon. That may sound odd, but it's a quality-of-life feature that just makes that cup of joe go down better in the morning. If you're an ultralight backpacker, you can get a lighter cup by going with a smaller capacity and pure silicon. The weight difference is negligible though, we're probably talking less than half an ounce? Do yourself a favor and pick this up instead, especially if you're a coffee drinker.
