Great eye cream!
I love eye creams with caffeine to help with puffiness. This one from Three Ships did not disappoint and glides on easily.

Clean ingredient and moderately priced option for sure cream
I can notice a difference in the puffiness and lines around my eyes when using this. I don't however love the price tag on it, but it seems to be a fairly clean option and not as expensive as some brands for eye cream.

My Eyes are Loving it!
Great product. Has helped my dark circles and my eyes feel hydrated. Love that it is EWG verified with clean ingredients.

Lacking
Eye cream feels nice and smooth. But this product clumps easily once my tinted sunscreen is applied. Does not do well with zinc oxide based lotions. The other issue is it doesn't reduce under eye puffiness at all. My previous daytime eye cream reduced and even out skin tone well. This formula may need added caffeine that may bring up to par with comparable eye creams. Don't plan on purchasing this product again.

my new go-to eye cream!
this eye cream quickly became a staple in my morning routine. the lightweight formula absorbs beautifully and instantly refreshes my undereye area. the caffeine helps reduce puffiness, and vitamin C works to brighten over time. i also appreciate that it's made with natural ingredients- it feels gentle and doesn't cause irritation like some other eye creams i've tried. a little goes along way, so this tube should last quite a while. the ceramic applicator feels so nice and cooling. i sadly still prefer to use my fingers for better for control, but i keep trying to make it work because i love how it feels! either way, this eye cream delivers noticeable results. 10/10, i highly recommend!!

Cooling and effective!
Reviewing: Three Ships First Light Vitamin C Plus Caffeine Eye Cream, 0.5 OZ: This is a small tube of eye cream, but you don’t need a lot at a time, so I’m confident that it will last a while. The ingredients are listed on the outer packaging, as follows: Aqua/Water/Eau, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Propanediol, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Squalane, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceril Stearate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Malpighia Emarginata (Acerola) Fruit Exract, Coffea Arabica (Coffee) Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid. I appreciate this company. You can look online at their website, and they have a clear list of all the ingredients they use in their products, and what their purpose is. They use naturally derived ingredients, and I appreciate their transparency in listing the ingredients openly. It’s a women-owned company, and they don’t test their products on animals. The eye cream works really well for me. The cream is light, and easy to apply. The applicator is cooling, and exactly what my still-tired eyes need first thing in the morning. I was curious that Vitamin C was not listed separately in the ingredients list, but it is contained in the Acerola Fruit Extract, and in the Grape Seed Oil, so it’s definitely in there! I have sensitive skin, so I’m careful about the products I use, and I’ve had no irritation from this at all. I don’t know if it will make a long-term difference to my ageing skin, but I feel as if it makes a difference to my under-eye area in the mornings, so I’ll keep using it!

I'm a fan of effective yet natural skincare, so I was really pleased to discover the Three Ships Eye Hero Bio-Retinol Smoothing Eye Cream – &, although I haven't had the chance to use it for very long, I still think it’s safe to say this tube lives up to its name. What makes this product stand out for me is its bio-retinol, a natural alternative to traditional retinol that’s sustainably sourced from Rambutan leaves. It’s gentle on the skin around my eyes but also on the surrounding area on which I've also used it. It still, however, has enough effectiveness when it comes to smoothing fine lines & improving firmness. I want to say I've noticed my under-eye area looking more lifted & refreshed – which, if I'm seeing right, would be thanks to the Honey Locust extract's tightening effect. The welcome addition of vegan Squalane* ensures that the delicate eye area stays deeply hydrated throughout the day. *I'm a big fan of Squalane & have been using it on its own, combined with or on top of other serums & moisturisers. I've increasingly noticed it being used as an ingredient in more & more moisturisers as well as it being mentioned by dermatologists on their channels or in articles. There have also been some promising results based on some recent studies & research. I think it’s also worth mentioning that this product is clinically tested, safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin, is natural, & important to me, it's made by a Canadian company & an Amazon-recognized Small Business - I'm happy to support smaller companies as much as I'm able. I've noticed, in other reviews, some mixed feelings re. the ceramic applicator. I understand the objections to it & I suppose it comes down to personal preference. What I do with my tube is put it in the fridge so that the ceramic applicator gets quite cold & as I apply the cream it helps reduce puffiness while making the application process feel sooo good. This product is offered as a Subscribe & Save option. As I'm writing this review, the current selling price for one tube of this eye cream is $54.00. If, however, one decided to use Subscribe & Save, the cost for a tube would be reduced to $45.90. That's pretty significant for those who care. I want to add that S. & S. can be cancelled at ANY time, for ANY reason including NO reason. In other words, there are no penalties, no cancellation fees, no questions asked. I plan to continue using this eye cream & if I notice increased improvements that I can directly link to this product, I'll be back to edit &/or update this review. Eye Hero Bio-Retinol Smoothing Eye Cream Based on everything I’m learning from social media dermatologists and “influencers”, retinol is considered to be one of the most important skincare products for short and long benefits, so in my ripe old middle age I’m trying to get caught up on all the most effective products. I’m also learning that despite retinol’s potential benefits, it’s an active and needs to be used with caution, specifically to ease into use, and beware of using along with other actives. Something I especially like is that the three ships brand is a Canadian company and is made with natural products. It gets a rare 100/100 Excellent score for ingredient safety on my third party app. It contains no harmful parabens. This particular formula is nice and lightweight, it’s very tolerable for my sensitive skin, but I’m very careful not to use it with other “actives”, I’m probably a little on the conservative side. My only very minor complaint would be that the cap design is a little difficult, not that it’s overly tight, it’s just that it’s not screw on/screw off, it needs to be firmly pulled off, but if you’re not aware and you’re squeezing the tube, you end up squeezing and wasting product. I wasted quite a bit of product on my first attempt but now I’m quite careful when removing the cap.
