Educational Insights Playfoam Pals Wild Friends 6-Pack, Fidget, Sensory Toy, GIft for Boys & Girls, Ages 5+

We have ordered playfoam in the past, so when EI came out with playfoam pals, I had to see what the difference was. My daughter loves this “update” to the product. Her favorite thing to do is to open mystery boxes and see what kind of toy she gets in each box. She also love Playdoh, even though her mom doesn’t as much. So, that is why I always like to get Playfoam if I can. Playfoam never makes a mess and it shapes itself into whatever she wants to make it into. We have ordered Playfoam, when it was a multi color pack. I had to find a place to store it. This is why I love Playfoam Pals. It comes in a plastic container that you can put the pals and playfoam right back in so the colors don’t separate. Clean up is a breeze and I don’t need to pull out my vacuum to pick up any pieces on the ground!Both of my kids have been playing with it for about a week now every day, they are doing something different with it every time. When they first opened it, they made little homes for the pets with the playfoam. Today, I came home, and they had “made” the pet out of playfoam. For example, we got the crocodile, and my son had made a larger crocodile out of the Playfoam. The pets are used to play with the Playfoam. So, my daughter made a bed for her pet and then played with the other pets with it.I ordered the pack, so it came with 6 different pets! Thank you EI for packaging it with different pets. Some toys will have the same toy and the kids get disappointed. For Playfoam pets, they got 6 different pets. They even got 2 golden pets! They were super excited about that. Now, all I hear is for me to order another pack so they can collect all of the animals.Play doh days will definitely be gone in our household. Playfoam is the way to go. And I love that they come with these cute pets to use with the playfoam. It makes the play more interactive and creative. I know that the playfoam will last for a long time since it is not drying up like the Play doh. I am not going back

We are huge fans of playfoam and we already own many many packs of playfoam. I was so excited to see this new playfoam pals product and I knew my 3 year old daughter would love it! She LOVES surprises so this was perfect for her! I love that like the other playfoam products, this provides endless opportunities for creative play especially now with the little animal pals that are included. Also it is such a great sensory learning activity!Every day, my 3 year old and I have special one on one time while baby sister naps so this was the perfect toy for her to play with during that time! My daughter had so much fun building different things for her little animal pals to play in and it kept her occupied for a while! I love that this playfoam set comes in a little plastic container so we can keep it stored in there when we aren’t playing with it. It is so easy to clean up!I have given playfoam in my kids’ birthday party goodie bags and I think these playfoam pals would be perfect for goodie bags, Easter baskets, stocking stuffers, in the car/airplane and more! I am always looking for new toys to keep my kids occupied when we travel so I will definitely be taking these with us on our next trip! Highly recommend for endless hours of fun play for kids of all ages!

Playfoam Pals is a great combination of building and creative play. Kids of all ages can build something with the mess-free Playfoam, then imagine their “pals” playing along. Although Playfoam can be slightly sticky when first removed from the package (LOVE the reusable package!), we have found it quickly looses the extra “stick,” while still performing as expected. The added fun of a surprise animal pal has brought a new dimension to the Playfoam our family has loved for years. Any simple toy that can entertain both a three year old and ten year olds is a win. When said toy is also mess-free, screen-free, and quiet enough to use while out to dinner..... YES PLEASE!!!

Both our 4 and 9 year old kids were already familiar with playfoam. We purchased the 6 packs with the hidden animals and they loved it even more. They were excited to open the package to reveal the secret animal. There are a total of 12 animals plus a limited golden one. Out of the 6 we got we got once set of duplicate but that was expected.The two kids loved to build habitat or various other things for their animal to sleep or play with. We loved the different color playfoam so you can mix and match. The playfoam doesn’t dry out and it can go back into its original container.This is a great toy to bring to restaurant or anywhere else kids have to wait since it’s compact. Also a great toy for sensory play since it’s different from play doh and other types of material.A few suugestions1. it’s a but pricey for 62. some of the color was not evenly distributed3. wrapper around each plastic container was a bit sticky and hard to take off

My kids were so excited to open these, and they got a kick out of digging through the little foam balls to find the little animals. The bummer came when they tried to actually play with and sculpt the foam balls. They just don't stick together very well, there were always little chunks falling off of whatever they were trying to create. An attempt at a castle ended up just being a mound with a couple little peaks. Kids lost interest before too long.

A great sensory product, but young children need direct supervision.

We love this sticky, non drying-out play foam! The price is fairly decent, particularly as you get two, and the little toy inside is a really great idea; children can collect them.I think it would be nice to be able to have the option of choosing a colour as well as the random surprise element, because we have two yellows, but the product is excellent, not at all messy and the dome packaging to keep it in is great. Would definitely buy more.
