What I expected.

better than skinny tapes
this wide tape is just easier to install than tapes that are typically 1/4 or 1/2" width, and i think, make a better seal

I found an musical instrument repair man whom showed how to use this pipe tape to repair keys on my flute, now my flute sings in perfect tone.

Too thin and fragile
This is much too thin. It rips and tears easily. I did about 25 joints with it. At least three of them leak with various amounts of tape and I don’t seem to be able to get them to work bo matter what I do. Not cracked or broken. Will try again with the pink tape.

Shreds and falls apart very easily.
Physically weak, shreds and falls apart very easily. As the tape is used you can no longer use the full width as part of the width tears and gets stuck. I strongly prefer a different brand.
