Just what my Mother needed transformed her walking considerably and a very good price worth every penny would highly recommend

The walker was quite a lot cheaper than the one available from the local mobility shop and, as they say, you usually get what you pay for. No problems with most of the components - the frame is strong and paint finish good, the handlebar grip, brake and wheel assemblies look very similar to the shop version. The bag is probably durable but the material is a bit flimsy. The real problem came during assembly. The handlebars are delivered unfitted to allow you to install them to the correct height. The handlebar rod is gripped by a thumbturn bolt which is inserted through the side of the frame tube. When first assembled it was impossible to get the handlebar fixing to tighten fully. Investigation revealed the bolt was snagging on the inner frame hole due to a build up of paint, which had to be filed off. The frame folding assembly was very stifff and had to be oiled and worked for some time before it loosened up It was straightforward for me to correct these problem - but I was purchasing the walker for my father. Any frail or older purchaser faced with these problems would not have the ability to overcome them.
