Q: Have aluminum rollup door thats baked on paint and painted lettering on it. Will this remove the lettering paint and leave the baked on paint?

This product will remove all paint if you are not careful.

the 9.40 price is from Amazon, so I am not really sure what they are doing. I am guessing for 9.40 you get just one wheel.

Q: I have already polished steel parts with a wire wheel, and they're bright. What affect on appearance will using this have?

My guess is it will be a duller metal polished finished. I've only used on aluminum and it left a gray matte finish. I was stripping to repaint so finish wasn't a concern.

Bought to remove calcium on pool tile

Works great. However if you have glass tiles like I do, this tool scratches the glass horribly. I knew this, but didn't care. The pool looks so much better with the calcium removed.

Muy rigido

Aunque es marca 3M, me parece un disco muy rigido, ademas produce rayones grandes en el material, si quita el oxido pero los rayones que hace perjudican el acabado.

Ok. Bought this on a whim. I have a small 2 bed cabin on an island which has been painted at least 9 million times and I wanted to strip it all off and repaint the whole thing! So this thing did it. Well I should say 3 of them did it! I bought 2 more! Oh and try to use an electric drill. I was cooking thru both my 18 Ryobi and 18v DeWalt drills batteries real fast. Wear eye protection!!! This thing flings small paint chips fast and pretty much everywhere. But damn it works!
