Pirate's Booty Snack Puffs, Veggie Puffs, 4oz Grocery Sized Bag, Healthy Kids Snacks, Gluten Free

In my humble opinion, these are oen of the best snack foods available. A bit salty, but I like that.They are reasonably healthy and tasty and with Amazon's subscription discount, suprisingly affordable. However, if you are getting two boxes at once, they ship it in this huge box that ALWAYS arrives as tho the shippers played football with it first. it is probably a function of the large size and very light weight. I have received three shipments so far and I believe every single one arrived that way and each time I had to discard one of the bags because it has had popped open during shipping.The 4 oz bag, tho a bit small, does help keep me from overindulging.

I think Veggie Booty was the first of the Booties we tried, and my kids have all always loved it. The adults do too! We certainly enjoy the cheesy ones as well, but this has a nice flavor and is not too salty, the way most crunchy-snacks-in-a-bag are. I doubt there is actually that much in the way of nutritional benefits from the veggies, but let's just pretend there are. ;) They are not as messy as the color would have you think, and they have such a nice combo of crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

One of the favorite snacks around here for me (L)! It's nice to have puffed products that aren't cheese-based. And I like the vegetables that they use to flavor this. I have this on S&S so that we get it every 3 months at a better price than the health food store. I'm the only ones that really goes to town on this that lives at our house. I try not to binge on it too often, because I can eat a whole bag in one sitting. But it's healthy, so it's all good, right? ;)

We love the Pirate's Booty products and buy Veggie Booty, Tings and Pirate's Booty in bulk to save money, since it's only available at a few stores where we live and it's expensive out here. My only complaint is that the last box we bought, we stored up in our pantry with only that front cardboard part pulled out, and just grabbed a new bag when we needed one. I went to pull the box down today and discovered that 2 bags had opened at the top seam (or more likely had never properly been closed) and so had to throw them away. That bums me out, and it raised the overall cost of the remaining 10 bags about 50 cents each. Since I ordered the box over a month ago, I don't feel like I can request a refund, so my only advice is when you get your bulk package, don't just open the cardboard cutout and store it. Be sure to go through and inspect each bag for any problems. That way you can contact Amazon and get a replacement if there is something wrong. Otherwise, I highly recommend these products at healthy alternatives for snacking kids (and adults).

I LOVE Pirate's Booty (the aged white cheddar variety). And recently, I've been trying several varieties of veggie chips, all of which have been pretty good. So when I saw that I could get Pirate's Booty in a veggie variety, I thought, "Great! Now I can have a super tasty and healthier snack! What could be more perfect?" and I ordered this 12-pack through subscribe-and-save.I was so excited when it arrived, and immediately broke open a package. It didn't look like I had expected (which was the typical, reddish, greenish, and yellow colors from other brands of veggie chips), and it instead looked like the regular Pirate's Booty puffs covered in a weird greenish powder. It smelled weird, too. "But hey," I thought, "I'll give it a try. Maybe it tastes good." So I put one in my mouth. It was so disgusting. It tasted like rancid broccoli. I thought, "Maybe it's one of those things where you get used to the taste after a couple and then it's good," so I tried a few more. No luck. Still gross.I tried giving the rest of my serving to my one-year-old daughter, who also quite likes the regular Pirate's Booty. She ate a couple, and then proceeded to drop the rest on the floor for the dogs to gobble up. I then gave her some Veggie Sticks (also ordered from here, and quite tasty--right in line with what I have come to expect from a veggie chip), and she ate those just fine.When my son came home from kindergarten, I offered him some as a snack. He ate one, and made a face. "I don't like these, Mommy," he said. "Can I have something else?" So I gave him some Veggie Sticks, too, which he loves.Last try was my husband. When he came home from work, I asked him to try them. He told me that they tasted like rotten vegetables.The only ones in my house who will eat them are my two dogs, and even they won't eat them if I put them in their dog bowls. The only way they will eat them is if they think they're getting people food, so I have to put them on my daughter's high chair tray and let her toss them on the floor for them to eat.I gave the remaining 11 bags to my son's school's food drive. Hopefully someone else will actually enjoy them.

I have been looking for these since NY 8 years ago. I could not find this flavor, just figured now to look for them on Amazon. So glad I did. They are a bigger bag than I expected but I am not complaining. Enjoying every bite!

Veggie booty-licious! I tried to give this four stars because I really do want to see more of the dark green puffs (the booty that have been over powdered). Seriously that green stuff is crack. However, my wife looked over my shoulder and told me I'd be lying at 4 since I can down multiple bags in a sitting if I wanted to (err if she didn't take the bag away sooner). Anyway, this is the healthiest awesome snack i've had... next to maybe like real vegetables. BUY NOW.

I am crazy about these, can eat them all day. It may be a bit of a problem. I just wish I could buy one at a time, but no stores carry them near me — not one! So I buy cases here and feel like a glutton ...
