4VWIN driveway alarm provides a convenient and economic way to alert you the moment when someone is approaching your home before you see them. When movement is detected, the PIR sensor sends a signal to the receiver unit from up to 100 meters away. What's more, the receiver can pair with up to 50 sensors, giving the ability to secure a large area. We offer many combinations of sensors and receivers, so simply select the system that best fits your needs. To avoid false alarms: 1. Mount the sensor away from direct sunlight ( as PIR detects moving heat sources ). When installing outside, it's best to mount in a shady, protected place with minimal changing temperatures.2. Mount the sensor away from the place affected by wind , that may lead to wrong sense .3. It might be helpful to move and mount the sensor in a higher position, then angle the sensor down to face the driveway. This may hopefully reduce the interference from objects in the distance and from sunlight. 4. Lastly, if none of these suggestions help, try tapping over a little of the sensor area with black tape as this may reduce sensor sensitivity.5. Avoiding mounting on UPVC or metal doorframe surfaces which may reduce transmission range.
