The positive; Looks great. I installed it in less than 10 minutes. Just need a screwdriver. Works flawlessly.The negative: You need batteries. So annoying to see the fine print on the back of the box. 4 AA batteries not included. It only uses bluetooth. So your smartphone won't work to activate unless your are standing next to it. Big disappointment I tried to invite someone with the "sharing" code. All they got was: 【iMagic Lock】You have been invited, now you can use Front.Looks like they have more work to do. I wish I had spent a bit more and ordered a Schlage!

Huge issue with app - Security Risk
Huge issue with app/Security Risk. Problem with your iMagic Lock application.. I used the app to invite two different people via their mobile phone # as guests to unlock my lock. Neither received the text message. I did this multiple time. Then, I decided to invite one via email, which is a feature of the application. The app changed their email to some trash like [email protected] or something like that. This is a huge security risk…I’ve now sent an invite to unlock my door to some stranger.

Eats Batteries.
Worked great, software flawless, in two weeks batteries have gone dead. And in two weeks, again. And again, and again. Looking at trying to hardwired 6VDC from a power brick to the unit and power it from an outlet. If it did not eat batteries or if it came with an external power supply, it would get 5 stars.

Tough to set up, batteries are crap!
Batteries don’t even last 2 weeks, non-existent customer service, poorly functioning app... need I go on? Look elsewhere, don’t buy this item if you want something that makes your life easier!

easy to install
It is easy to install by following the instruction. A power screwdriver would be of great help. Signing up in the app cost me some time but their customer service responded promptly. (Tips: Check your spam box if you didn't receive the verification code in your inbox. :)

The app is terrible and I called on Friday they said they were closed Monday through Friday until 5 p.m. So what are you supposed to do after that and I had to Google to find the number the website they give is unfound.

Bought this deadbolt lock for our house remodeling project. So excited about a smart lock. The lock is nice looking, the bottom is soft touching and the app is easy to use. Can't wait to install it.

Lock Installation:The lock installation has gone well refer to the Installation Guide included in the package and the videos located on Amazon Related Video Shorts.I have done the installation by myself about 30 minuts.Successful!But two points should be paied more attention,also mentioned as STEP4-Install Latch and STEP6-Install KeypadAssembly in the guide.The point #1 is making sure the hub of the latch is downward when inserting the latch into the door.And point #2 is making sure the tailpiece of cylinder keeping horizontal position and then be inserted through the hub of the latch.APP Installation:Like others,iMagic Lock APP can be downloaded from APP Store&Google Play and the installation is quick easy.And also need creat account before connecting with Lock.A special thing I found is I should fill in my email address&phone number,two of them all be needed,in order to be a user first and then connect lock.I think maybe it's special for the security of smart lock.Bluetooth Connection:Make sure the battery,four AA alkaline batteries needed but not included in the package,has been installed correctly and the bluetooth of smartphone enabled before startup.For new user,the home page of APP has nothing except an plus icon.I tried to touch the plus and found the connection guide.The whole process of bluetooth connection was finished within 30 seconds.Deep impression on me was awesome lock calibration.This makes lock installation more flexible,either for left-hand or right-hand door.Amazing!
