ohhunt Picatinny Mount Plate Red Dot Mount

So, I don't do reviews much, but I will on this product. I was looking for something to mount a RMR red dot on a 45° cant on my AR. I read the reviews on this product and there are both pros and cons. I decided I would give it a try due to the great price. I ended up buying two, one RMR and one Doctors mount. Both can with all needed parts and screws. No directions though. But, I you have a little bit of common sense, it is pretty easy to put together. Both work great. Optics mounted quickly and mounting to rifle was simple. Now, I have not been to the range yet, but I will follow up once I do. So far, I am satisfied with this product and would recommend to others that are looking for the same thing.

good and cheap mount. noticed a ton of reviews saying its not a pic-rail mount. It is. but needs to sit between pic rail segments. if you try to mount it on the high points of the rail. it WON'T work. Screw holes have installed helio-coils so you shouldn't need to crank the heck out of the hardware. bought for use on my set-up for a 45 degree offset 1x. its lightweight and does the job.

One thing I did notice is that it’s a bit loose when mounted on a couple different handguards. Fits nice a tight on all the uppers I tried this on but I noticed that there is some movement on a handguards I tried to mount this to. If you want to mount something further forward this might give you issues but it worked great for what I needed it for.

It's advertised as a picatinny mount (even on the packaging) but it's not. It's 100% a weaver mount and will not fit a picatinny rail. Once you start to look closer at the photos you can even tell from those that it's not picatinny. I'm honestly baffled that more people haven't brought this up in reviews. Maybe they're just duct taping this to their guns instead of using the mount, who knows.

Worked great to mount a small b/u optic to a rifle you can mount the base either way for left or right side

There is a pricey version of this but this one works just as well if not better
