This drying rack worked out perfectly for my small laundry room! I had purchased a few other smaller drying racks that were only 9-10” and they didn’t really hold much. If you only need to hang up maybe 5 or fewer items at a time, then maybe these smaller racks will work fine for you. But, I wanted the option to hang up at least 10+ items at a time. This InstaHanger has a wide depth of 13-14”, holds a lot more, is extremely sturdy and worked out perfectly!

I am very impressed with this folding hangar! It is extremely sturdy, the plastic is heavy duty, the metal bar is also heavy enough that I can hang many many wet clothes on it. It came with great instructions and a template to assist in putting it on the wall straight. It fits in between 2 closets perfectly for us. When it folds up, it blends into the wall very well. It is smooth in its folding and unfolding mechanism and super easy to use. I would HIGHLY recommend this handy hanger! 5-14-24 I am writing an update from last year when I purchased this originally.... I STILL LOVE THIS HANGER!!!!! How I lived without it I have no idea!!! It still works great, still looks great, it holds a LOT of weight, no problems or defects with this fantastic device! Whoever thought it up was a genius!

My husband and I just moved and the new house has a smaller laundry room than we're used to with no big hanging rod (or any hanging rod). I pull almost all of my clothes out of the dryer after 10 minutes and hang them up so that is an issue that had to be resolved ASAP! I was sooooo excited when I saw this thing and so far it has been AWESOME! Here's what I love about it: - EASY to install and use. It comes with all the hardware you need to mount it and it's minimal. Basically just two screws/wall anchors. The directions are very clear and easy to follow and it even has a template you can use to drill the holes. I had no trouble installing this myself. - SLIM PROFILE: You will be hard pressed to find a clothes hanging solution this good that is smaller, thinner, lighter, shorter and less obtrusive than this. The laundry room we have is also a bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink as well as a bunch of cabinets. There isn't a lot of wall space and there isn't a lot of room to maneuver. There are other similar hangers that swing out when you want to use them and swing back up against the wall when you're not, but as you can see from my pictures, we don't have enough wall space for the swing kind. This was PERFECT!! - SECURE: Once installed, this hanger is very sturdy and secure. As you can see in my picture, I had 10 wet shirts and 2 empty hangers on it at the time and it was solid as a rock. I am not the least bit worried about this coming off the wall, the rod breaking or it dropping my clothes. The only thing I was say by way of a negative is that they say it will hold 12 items of clothing. While technically this is probably accurate, if you're using it for drying clothes, I would say 10 would be the max and even then there isn't much space in between the items for drying. Also, if you're going to fit that many you'd probably need to use wire hangers. Otherwise I have to say I really really loved this thing! I'll probably be buying a second one to mount over the back of the door. Had I known they offered one that hangs over the back of doors and doesn't requiring screwing into the wall, I probably would've started with that one first. All the hangers are horizontal, and this is "vertical", and that's where lies its beauty and usability. It allows to hang coats in tight spaces, one after the other. And it's heavy duty too, holds at least 8 heavy coats. Out of all similar others, i chose this one, and was not disappointed! Highly recommend.

I had been searching for a short while for a drying rack of some kind for my laundry room. I only stumbled upon this by chance and am 100% glad I did! First off, when the seller shipped me this item (Amazon fulfilled the order) I was shipped the wrong item. I got a set of Jeep door sills. They quickly remedied the situation & got me the correct product. As inconvenient as it was, it is still not that big of a deal because they got me the correct product. Second, the actual review of the product. I received it and quickly read the simple instructions. I would recommend reading them all the way through as there are different installation methods and some good points to consider. I installed my in my laundry room directly into a stud (as recommended). I used my own screws as the ones provided weren't that strong but I'm sure would hold up just fine. Some other reviewers stated that they could not access the top screw to tighten it down all the way. That is only because they did not read the instructions which clearly tell you how to detach the metal bar so that you can access the top screw. I got it up relatively quickly and love how it tucks away flat against the wall when not in use. It holds up weight quite well and even with the price of it, if it breaks in a couple years I would just buy another one. Wonderful product & works perfectly for what it is and is a great idea for space saving and functionality in the laundry room. Other purposes would probably work just as well. I highly recommend this product!

Perfect size and I think this is going to be fantastic and what a great way to steam clothing! It will be just outside my bathroom door, but as I’m spraying the steamer, it will be in the bathroom where everything is washable so that the steam will not hurt anything! Delighted and I can’t wait to have it installed.

I had a couple of cheap plastic shirt hangers that dropped fl;at to the wall when not in use. These eventually gave up the ghost, due to the plastic hardening and degrading, and I couldn't find anything like them until now. These hangers are of a much higher quality, fairly easy to put up, simple to use and give me a place to hang things whist getting changed before folding flat to the wall.

This is great if you’re tight on space. It folds out to hang all your items holding quite a bit of weight if installed properly. Then folds away cleaning up against the wall till next time. I’ve put one in every house I’ve owned. If you hung a lot of items I’d probably get something bigger but this is perfect for the 10 things I’d hang in a load
