Our windows are old style kind of windows for the frontroom where they slide left to right. 2 sets of 2. So it’s a lot of coverage left to right but bottom to top it feels a bit short. So to make the windows look larger, I got longer ones. I was happy I did as it looks soooo much better! I went with white even knowing I have 3 rambunctious dogs and they’ve gotten 2 paw print marks on them haha. But they wash well. They are heavy duty- meaning thick. They block out light! The inside view is white but the outside view is black. My husband commented on how you can’t even tell if we have a light on or not from the outside because it blocks out. I would recommend it!

What I likeThe price!The thickness of material and it is very well made, excellent black backing.NO light gets through the material, blocks heat, I bet it is excellent at keeping cold out as well.When we were installing these in our south facing floor to ceiling A frame windows we were getting fried by the sun, once these were on and pulled shut it was instant relief and the temp drop was dramatic!What to know.These are HEAVY. I recommend a one inch diameter pole, minimum 3/4. inch. I have these in my bedroom as well one set on 3/4" and one on 1 inch, the one inch feels more secure when pulling shut.If you want some light or a bit of privacy, use a double pole set up so you can pull these back and have sheers underneath to filter light or provide privacy on those cloudy or partly cloudy days.Soft and like satin but not overly shiny. Drapes well.No dislikes.

These seem to truly be blackout curtains. As opposed to some others I've had, these completely keep the light out. Good for situations in which that might be useful. I bought them to try to keep my house warm in winter and cool in summer. So far, I'm pleased. Oh, even the color is nice!

These are perfect! The room darkening really does a great job with the morning bright sun! Our guests rave about how well they block the light, I have had them a year and am washing them for the first time. I saw on another review the grommets came off when washing. Hoping that doesn’t happen. I have 6 to launder. Started with the shortest two.

These curtains are great quality for the price! They are made of thick soft material with a thick black fabric backing. Since hanging them, I can tell they have blocked the draft from my bedroom widow!I purchased these curtains in white and they are beautiful but unfortunately, the metal rings left a couple of round stains across the center of each panel, because of this I gave them 4 stars. I still highly recommend these curtains!These curtains came super wrinkled from the packaging which is expected. I just took my steamer to them but with the fabric being so thick it didn’t work as well as I’d like but no big deal, nothing an iron won’t fix!

Very efficient and it does covers a lot. Chicago’s cold is bad but this curtains are helping with that.Not wrinkle-Free but it’s okay that can be fixed. I love the fact that I’m one side is black and blocks every single light for those who needs to sleep during the day. In fact this curtains are also for summer, helps to save energy for I can see. 40$ is a worth price for this curtains and I will purchase 2 more pairs. ( the last picture is the same room but at night and I opened the curtain on the left side so can see the light a little bit bc in the right is complete black) GREAT CURTAINS !!

Great quality, thickness is great. Just too small for my window

Product was advertised as noise canceling. I didn't really expect it to be 100% noise canceling but it didn't really reduce any sound coming from outside. It is still a good curtain though and really blocks the light from outside. My room is really dark when it's closed.

These curtains are truly double layer curtains. They really prevent the light to enter my bedroom at night and in the morning. I cannot monitor it, but I think they also improve the thermal insulation and attenuate noise coming from outside. This product is far more better than the H.VERSAILTEX Blackout Curtains that I bought a week ago (VERSAILTEX says their curtains have triple layers, what I received was a cheap single layer).

They are excellent at room darkening - they are not real pretty to look at. The white fabric takes on almost a grey hue due to the black fabric on the back. Overall they are doing just what I wanted - keeping the light out of my bedroom. That makes me happy>
