Silence Of The Wolf
Silence Of The Wolf is the thirteenth book in the Heart Of The Wolf series by Terry Spear.Following a different couple throughout each book, this stories focus is on Tom Silver of the pack-run Silver Town and the Silver triplets and Elizabeth Wildwood a mix of wolf and coyote who has been ostracized her whole life because of her mixed blood. In town to report a story and to meet up with North, a member of her Uncle's pack who was meeting her to hand over evidence of the murderer of her parents, Elizabeth is doing whatever she can to stay far away from her half-brother Sefton and her Uncle Quinton after they had both attempted to kill her, being a loner and having not been a part of a pack her whole life because of being discriminated against, she is surprised after meeting Tom and his pack how welcome she is even after them finding out her mixed heritage.Tom is attracted to her straight away, but is dismayed when after being pushed down a ski slope and having her room broken into and her belongings stolen she leaves without saying good-bye, but unbeknownst to both of them their paths cross again when Tom is out investigating wolves threatening farmer's livestock when he comes across a plane crash and finds Elizabeth among the wreckage, the only survivor, he takes her back to his cabin and it's from here that their relationship takes a step forward. But it's not the end of all the action though, we still have to discover who was responsible for Elizabeth's kidnapping, her push down the slopes, the robbery as well as the wolves prowling the farms before these two get their happily ever after.Oh and we get to meet Sheriff Peter's long-lost brother and you'll never guess who it is, I was surprised in a very happy way, plus I love this character and I was happy to see him make an appearance in another book. The chemistry between these two is hot, I've been eagerly awaiting Tom's book for quite a while now and I'm so happy that it was so good, I love how different characters from each book have met before or have known each other and we discover these relationships throughout the series.I can forsee plenty more stories that can come out of this series, many more characters that deserve their stories told.Terry has a way of writing extremely exciting, hot and drool-worthy alpha males that will leave you weak-kneed and desperate for more.I eagerly await each and every installment that is released and to fall in love with each and every characters stories. For fans of paranormal romance series I highly recommend this series.

Starts with a bang, ends with a wimper
Plot summary: a woman is romantically pursued by an kind & attractive guy who knows he wants a lasting relationship with her. I am fond of this plot-line in general, because his confidence and desire makes her (and thus me the reader) feel good. The backdrop is shape changers and a convoluted suspense plot that puts her into danger. The first maybe 30% of this book was fantastic in general, but her ridiculously over the top insecurity got tedious (4-stars). At about the 30% mark, she becomes so afraid of trusting that a guy could want her that she flees. From there on out, the book stunk. The middle 50% read like it was all filler, uninspired and bland (2-star). Their eventual reunion was a fun note. The book picks up in the last 20% where the suspense plot is finally resolved in a nice action sequence (3-star).

I do like Terry Spear!
Elizabeth Wildwood grew up as a second-class citizen, discriminated against because of her "mixed" half-wolf, half-coyote heritage. She has no experience of being accepted for the person she is until she attempts to investigate her parents' deaths in another pack's territory. Tom SIlver, brother of the pack leader, has no experience with the type of prejudice Elizabeth has suffered and treats her like the attractive and smart person that she is. Together, they unravel some old conspiracies, protect the pack, and fall in love. Good book!

Party Time
Celebration is in order for Tom, Elizabeth, and of course Terry! The silver pack series has to be one of my all time "must reads". With Tom being the last triplet to find a mate I have waited patiently to read his story. Satisfaction was my feelings in love, romance, drama and danger. Terry has never disappointed me and I will always look forward to her next published book.Thank you for all the dedication and hard work you do Terry Spear

Fun to read.
To me, these books are always fun to read with some suspense added in. I like the world Terry Spear has created with this series. Been waiting for Tom's book and enjoyed it very much. I just love how Terry weaves all the side characters in to tell a story. Can't wait for the next book and the next Jaguar book.

Amazing!
Really enjoyed this book. I already adored Tom from his brothers Darien and Jake's books, not too mention Ryan and Carol's book! I really liked Elisabeth as well. It's the first time in this series that we've heard of and seen other types of shifters aside from wolf but Elizabeth is mix of wolf and coyote shifter. There was even the hint of a Jaguar at the end, only very briefly and passing them in a shop but still!I also will admit to being quite excited to see Bjorn and Anna turn up in the book, when Bjorn mentioned a brother in his book I had no idea his brother would be a member of the Silver Town pack! I loved learning what Darien and Lelandi had as well, hopefully we'll get more visits to Silver Town so we learn what Jake and Alicia have as well! The story itself had me hooked as well with Elizabeth being targeted by family she ran from when she was sixteen and the confusion over Darien, Jake and Tom's cousins, whether they were behind trouble plaguing the pack or not. It was an addictive read from start to finish and I can't wait for the next book!
