CCNA 200-301 Official Cert Guide Library

EDIT: I’m three chapters in. I’m already amazed. Very descriptive and easy to understand. I like that the author has purposely made the chapters fairly short (20-30 pages). Makes it much easier to stay focused. Great CCNA resource. Highly recommend coupling this with other learning materials as part of your exam prep.ORIGINAL: I must not have paid close enough attention to the full description because upon opening this I was shocked by the weight. I didn't realize it consisted of two books. On top of that, they are thick AF. Each volume is approx. 800-900 pages cover to cover. I am sure these are packed full of useful knowledge for network professionals, but I do wonder if it is a little too packed for "entry-level" certification exam prep. I'm curious how much of the material is actually applicable to the exam. With that said, if you're looking for detailed material about networking and security, something tells me this would have you covered. I plan to use this in conjunction with the free course offered by Jeremy's IT Lab to prepare for the CCNA exam. Looks like I will be studying for quite some time based on the girth of these books. I now see why this set costs over $50.

I bought the Premium PDF but it became time to have something tangible. I love how simple it is to learn for the CCNA using these books. I did it without these books and was only able to muster 68%. Learning a lot that I seemed to have missed. This SE contains the new exam update from September 2024 v1.1

The author does a great job of making really dry boring information and best as possible.

This book is easy to read and starts with the very basics. It includes online material as well and sample questions and tests. Highly recommended.

I'm really happy to see that Cisco and Wendell updated their text. The books are exactly what you'd expect, expert knowledge and backed by the manufacturer.With the books you can get access to the Pearson practice tests; which, in my opinion, are worth the price of the books. If you buy these, make sure to register them ASAP for the bonus content. The instructions are in the book but a little hidden in the preamble,I'm subtracting one star because the digital versions she full color. I'm a very visual learner, so the charts, graphs, pictograms, and other learning aids lose value in black and white.

Two books. One package deal. I havent had a chance to break into it with detail but it has- Practive Tests- Video Training- Flash Cards- Study Planner- Reivew Exercises- LabsPeering these books with UDemy and Boson to get my CCNA. So far, I am excited with this purchase.
