Chimney SheepWomen's Snug Feet™ 100% Herdwick Wool Boot Insoles Grey

Bought these to go inside some barefoot knee high boots which came with a very thin insole. Other wool insoles I’ve tried have been too narrow with my toes off the sides. Not these - they are nice and wide to accommodate toe splay. I used an existing insole to trim them as they come in one size. The insulation in these is unreal - I wore them on a freezing dog walk through snowy fields and my feet remained toasty warm. They provide padding but it’s not spongy, you still get the ground feel but with the added comfort and coziness. I want them in all my footwear for winter!

You cut them to size which is perfect and they are so warm. Had them in work wellies for almost a year and been used weekly and still just as good. Very durable.

Love my wellies, but the insoles that came with them were pretty thin and have worn out entirely after a few years of muddy dog walks. I didn’t have particularly high expectations of these, but thought for the price it was worth seeing if I could extend the life of my otherwise functional boots.I cut them to size using my old insoles as a template as recommended. This took a few goes to get right, but it was worth the effort .These are amazing! Not only are my boots more comfortable, my feet are no longer cold. Because they are quite thick, I initially worried that they made my boots too tight, but a few walks have helped compress them to a comfortable level. I would recommend to all welly wearers.

Very nice and thick and warm. But there was at least half an inch difference in the length of the two insoles.Ok so I trimmed the larger one, but the smaller one was JUST the right length, and once I had cut one, it frayed a bit. So I can’t cut it as well as the manufacturer can. But these are warm, soft and comfortable.

These are lovely and warm and make your boots extra luxurious. They are thick to begin with and I removed the original foot beds from my boots for a couple of weeks while I flattened them a bit. I wear my shoes a bit loose so they worked for me. If your shoes are a close fit you may find them too thick.

My feet were freezing in my gardening shoes put these insoles in, now my feet are sooo cosy.

I really wanted to like these. They are cosy but are too soft and flimsy so they bunch up in my boots. It’s difficult to get them in the right place to begin but then they move around and become uncomfortable. They could be great though so would love to see a redesign!

Bought these for some leather boots that were getting a bit loose. Popped these in and they now fit perfectly and are super warm and comfy. Love them

They are for my gumboots. Easy to cut to size and feel great.
