Modern and stylish outside light, very happy the way it lights up the garden.

This floodlight is a proper fixed electrical light, not a portable device. So it has proper wiring (3 wires: live wire, neutral wire and earth wire) which you'll need to know how to tie into your electrics - or hire an electrician to fit it for you. This is the only mode of powering it.It comes with a helpful set of instructions to help you figure out how to fit it.With 5000 lumen power it is powerful and bright. We installed it in our garage and it really upgraded the amount of brightness in there compared to the old light we had up which was much less than 5000 lumen. Having said that, it's still not strong enough to light up the whole garage brightly because it's a fairly small light, but the spotlight where it does light up is nice and bright. The surrounding area outside the spotlight's reach is light enough to see, but not really properly well-lit.With its 7000K colour, it gives a nice blue-ish cool white light. There was a strange thing though that around the perimeter that is lit, the colour of the light changes to yellow for some reason. There's sort of a yellow halo at the outer edge of the light's spotlight. It doesn't really bother me - but it does look a little bit odd!

This was a fairly bright floodlight and easy to set up , ut should be noted the is no PIR so you need to wire to that yourself.The cable is only 50cm long which is a little short so worth checking before and where you want this wire this to.Simple bracket pivot, waterproof, 50W light equic - does the job of small floodlight as expected.

The build quality of this floodlight is very good. It's relatively light in weight, compact in size, and very thin. The back of the light is all metal with built-in heatsinking. The cable length is only 0.5 meters, so you will need to make a waterproof join if used outside. The bracket is strong and holds the light securely in place.The output from the 50W version is very bright. The Kelvin colour indicates it’s in the range of 6500-7000K, and I would agree that it’s a very clean white light. I'm impressed with the light output and will be adding this to my PIR at the rear of the house.

I've used this floodlight to replace an old security floodlight that got damaged in a recent storm. It's connected with a motion sensor for security, and I have an override to switch it on and off as needed. It's certainly very bright! The area I need to illuminate (my front garden) isn't that big: about 15m x 5m, and this light is just right. It certainly alarmed a visiting deer caught in the act of chewing my roses! It's nice and light to install, and the bracket allows for varying the angle that you set it at. The wiring supplied is a very short length (500mm) but that was enough to take to the junction box for the previous light. The slim profile and aluminium casing makes it quite unnoticeable during the day, less visually obtrusive than many. Recommended!

I ordered the 50W floodlight, which is the least bright of the range, with the others being 100W and 200W.The light is clean and modern looking, with a slim profile that blends in well. The built in bracket is easy to attach, and the floodlight can be tilted to adjust the coverage area. The lead is relatively short - ideally it could do to have another 1m of cable to increase the range of applications/install locations. I've drilled a hole through the garage wall, and extended the cable inside the garage.The light is extremely bright (I can't imagine how bright the other 2 models are!), with a crisp white hue. It works perfectly to light up the side of my house and will be very useful as the darker nights set in.Good price. Would recommend.

Quality feels really solid with a nice heatsink on the back to help disapate the heat which is definitely needed. The cable is nice and thick but not long so if you need longer you will need to extend the cable but that's not that difficult to do if you know how. Overall this is a good light just make sure you get enough cable to make it long enough and a plug socket if you intend to use a wall socket.
