Memory Card Reader SD MMC Mobile SDHC M2 TF XD CF

My daughter has an old camera to mess around with so uses Compact Flash cards which is inconvenient as SD is so universal now. This reader has never let me down copying pictures. I have used it on several PCs and as a source on my Samsung TV and old digital photo frame without issue. I have only used CF and SD cards in it.It's small and functional and great value for money. It's pretty cheaply made, but then it's pretty cheap. It doesn't look too bad though.

Does exactly what it's supposed to and it's good value. I've only tried a couple of the different cards it accepts but it worked flawlessly on both. Looks a little cheap I guess, but there again - it is! The main thing is it works.

As I always do, I have held back from reviewing the card reader until I had been using it for several months. I was a little wary of the reader after reading some of the previous reviews regarding the build quality. I can say that, the card reader that I received, has caused me no issues really. I have given it 4 stars rather than 5 because the fit for CF cards isn't great but, as long as you don't try to force them in, with a little'jiggle' they slot in with no problems. I can only assume that those who have complained about pins getting bent have tried to force the card home without it being properly aligned? I think this is a great value piece of kit and, whereas the build quality could be improved, it's certainly worth its very competitive price.

Needed something to read an XD card (I usually use SD cards, but had one of these to get photos off for the mother-in-law!), so took a chance on this - cheap and next day delivery via Amazon Prime.Very impressed - the device is neat and compact and feels well made, with a tactile soft rubberised coating which makes it seem like a more expensive gadget in my opinion.An array of card slots for various card types are on the sides, and a standard mini USB connector to connect it to your computer with the supplied cable (or any other USB A -> mini USB cable) is on one end.Upon plugging it in to my laptop (running Ubuntu Linux), the 2GB XD card I'd inserted became available to the system as another drive, just as you'd expect - no need for drivers or anything. I also tried with a 16GB SD card, which was also read with no problems.For reference, the device describes itself as a "FNK TECH USB CARD READER", and has USB ID 3207:0300.File transfer worked fine. I did note that the "Access" light didn't appear to actually indicate access of the data on the card, but appeared to remain solidly lit whether data was being read from the card or not.Plugging multiple types of card into the reader at the same time does not appear to be supported - I believe that's the case with pretty much all such devices of this type.I'm uploading a photo which shows the various card slots more clearly.Also, the product details claim "High Capacity memory up to 8GB Card Support", but as above I found it to recognise a 16GB SD card with no trouble.

Item stopped working within a week of using it for the first time.

Does what it says on the tin. Not too robust but sits in my drawer so doesn't need to be.

Works well on my windows, chromebook and Linux machines. Handy little thing to keep in laptop bag for reading allsorts of memory cards.

I bought this to read my old Fuji film camera XD-picture card since I lost the CD for it. It reads the card like a usb drive. Worked for me at a good price.

Fonctionne très bien. En complément je recommande le logiciel libre et gratuit Speed Out c'est un testeur de carte SD. En effet les performances des cartes SD se dégradent avec les années (oxydation normale).
