Innovative Scuba Razor Line Cutter, TM1605

The hook portion of the knife is EXTREMELY dull.I tied some paracord to my door frame to try and cut it using the hook side. I ended up putting my whole weight on it, and hung off the cord and knife for a few seconds before it gave out (didn't cut). I then tried to simply cut some 30lb braided line with the hook portion, and it wouldn't cut. I figured cutting with with a hard jerk would work, but I ended up cutting my hand on the braided line because the knife just wouldn't cut through it. The only portion that will cut is the serrated side. It should be noted that my gerber can cut through both the paracord and 30lb braid like it's nothing.If you're looking for an emergency knife to cut away cord in a life and death situation, DO NOT GET THIS KNIFE IT WILL GET YOU KILLED. Spend a bit more money on a halfway decent knife.

Very corrosion resistant. Sharp and holds it's edge. Sturdy. Compact. Wide opening for cutting a variety of items from mono-filament to kelp; from rope to seat belts. Finger holes wide enough to use with gloves. Sheath easy to put cutter back into.

Unfortunately although the tool itself was sharp and useful there wasn’t much positive connection in the sheath and the cutter fell out during a dive. I use this cutter as a safety knife and the fact that it fell out so easily is very worrying to me.

We use these cutters for technical rescue. The cutter is easy to use and extremely sharp. ALWAYS keep it in its sheath until you are ready to practice with it or need to use it. When needed, it does its job very well.

Excellent tool for recreational diving. Big enough to handle it with 5 mils gloves. Small enough to be not on the way. Nice low profile plastic pouch that attaches securely to a weight belt. Highly recommend.

Perfect piece of my diving kit. Razor-sharp and light weight. The case needs to be secured with a lanyard to a web belt. Highly recommend and I have one on each of my set ups.

Absurdly sharp, high visibility Red or Yellow, fits my kayaking PFD nicely. Have bought two, wouldn't hesitate to replace with the same if I lose one. So far so good with respect to salt-water corrosion.
