I got this product after finding that with the standard wall mounts coming with my Arlo Pro 2 cameras the cameras couldn't see things close to the house (wall I was mounting on) and were also detecting undesired motion of vehicles and people going down the street / sidewalk even when turning the sensitivity way down since it was crossing the field of view.Having the camera mounted out about 4" from the wall allowed me angle it to see close to the house (I can now tell when my garage door is open/shut) and traffic on the sidewalk and street cut diagonally across the upper corner of the camera view and doesn't trigger alerts/record video. It does detect motion on my driveway or going to the front door as desired.The mounts themselves are very nice and provide very flexible adjustments with the ball at the end that the Arlo magnets stick to. There is a small tether which is attached to the mount where 1 end screws into the camera - This prevents the camera from falling to the ground should it be knocked off the magnetic mount (which seems like it would be hard to do). The mounts are metallic and seems like they will hold up to the elements.Overall I'm happy with the purchase and believe they allow more level of adjustment than Arlo's outdoor security mount at less than half the price.

These mounts worked great for my Arlo pro2 cameras. Easy to install with three screws, guide sticker comes with it, camera bonds well with ball, the extra wire that screws in to keep camera from blowing off in high winds fits nicely, the ability to angel the camera in any direction is perfect and stays in place nicely. I highly recommend these mounts for anyone looking for the extra room to turn your camera to see closer to the wall it’s mounted on. Thank you for the fast shipment!!

Easy to mount and position camera but the build quality is not good and does not have a solid feel to it. I was able to easily mount the camera but tighten the wing nut to lock in the position of the mount was difficult. Over the last 3 years I have tried several mounts for my Arlo cameras. Utilized both Arlo and aftermarket mounts. These mounts are all metal unlike plastic competitors. Stainless hardware and a stainless anti-theft camera tether is included. Best of all is the ball mount for the Arlo camera. It allows for an incredible range of positioning when aiming the camera. Nothing else comes close for rugged utility and functionality. Great for outdoor installs and works well for indoors also.

I’ve gone through 1 Arlo brand mount and 1 non-Arlo, and this one is by far the best. The silver magnetic ball allows you to adjust the camera exactly to your liking. And the tether gives extra safety in case the magnet doesn’t hold in strong weather. And I was able to use the existing holes from the old mount to screw in the new mount, which made it super easy to replace. Plus, it was less expensive than Arlo’s brand, and I got 2.

Better quality mount overall compared to similar ones but the magnetic portion of the mount is not that strong compared to the original mounts that come with the arlo cameras, strong windy days may shift the camera but I have yet to see it knocked off

I purchased an Arlo Wireless camera set based on the many positive reviews and information that "they were easy to install". Yes, the cameras and base station were easy to install and downloading and connecting with the Arlo app was a snap. Getting the cameras aimed was another issue. Using the included Arlo camera mounts, I spent hours trying to aim the cameras to not send false alarms. My front door camera is close to my driveway and the street. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't adjust the camera to not detect motion from the street or driveway. I ordered the Haoyou mounts, replaced the old Arlo mounts and was able to perfectly aim the cameras to detect motion in only the areas I want covered. Compared to the mounts that come with Arlo cameras, the Haoyou mounts have about a zillion positions to aim a camera. Also, the included security strap is a bonus, as I now don't have to worry about dropping the camera when I'm changing batteries. Great product at a great price.

I use these along with vinyl siding hooks and they work great in spots I don't want to drill screws into the house, or where I might want to move the camera. The ball mount makes is extremely easy to adjust the camera. I can't speak to how well they'll hold up to the elements though as I've only had them for a couple of months.
