I can't believe how many teeny shells were in the jar. This shell set is super cute. There is a nice assortment mix and the tiny starfish were so cute. These are perfect for DIY beach themed crafts. Great value.

Overall this container of crafting seashells is exactly what I was hoping for. The shells are clean and most of them were unbroken, the jar was very full and the baby starfish were packaged separately (2 were still broken but they are VERY fragile!). I wanted to use the tiniest seashells so I was sifting through them and sorted them somewhat into piles. There are about 1/3 of these little "sailboat" looking shells and the rest are basic scallop/clam shell shapes. The tiniest shells are SO CUTE, can't believe they were still in tact, can't wait to use these for many projects. The broken shells/bits are in the bottom of the jar (shown in my photo) so you can see the ratio. Would have liked to have some "snail" or conch type shells in this mix but I knew there wouldn't be any from the ad photos. I see this brand sells those in bulk, too, will be sure to order some. :)
