Great Lens for Real Estate Photography
The lens fit on my Canon 3200 perfectly as expected. It definitely made a huge difference in my photos without creating too much distortion (no fish eye effects just a nice wide angle view.) I have included 3 views of one of my listings so you can see the difference between the widest angle with the kit lens and the widest angle with this Sigma 10-20mm lens. Please note that the lighting was different the day I used the Sigma lens and those pics were edited for viewing online, but not cropped. I hope they help you decide if this is what you are looking for. I had the most difficult time getting an answer to what lens would be good for real estate, I am glad I went with this one. It seems to be perfect for my need and it is at a good price point for a beginning lens.

Very good wide angle lens. Amazing value.
For the price, this lens is amazing! It's well-made and performs well. It's sharp even wide open, except in the corners. It sharpens up substantially by f/5.6 and is amazing at f/8. A little bit of distortion, buy that's inevitable with such a wide lens, and you can easily clean it up in post-processing. I was considering this lens, the Tokina 11-20, and the Nikon 10-24. After doing my research, I concluded that this was the lens to get, although some say that there is a risk of getting a bad copy. I did not get a bad copy, and I am extremely satisfied.

Great lens for the price.
If your looking for a Ultrawide angle lens for a decent price the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 is a good choice. It is not a fisheye so straight lines will remain straight. However the same caveat that applies to all wide angle lenses applies here. Do not photograph people to the sides of the frame with this lens as you will likely get distortion. It's best to photograph people in the center with any ultra wide lens. For others that are new to wide angles like myself, one of the pieces of advice I came across when shooting with a wide angle lens is to try and get close to your subject. With such a wide angle the viewer may become detached from the subject so it's good to have something in the foreground to draw you in. What's important to note about this lens is that it has a wider aperture of 3.5. This is good if you plan on shooting indoors or in low light situations. This isn't a prime lens with a fixed focal length but rather a zoom lens that is a bit more versatile. I have a Nikon D5100 and the newer Nikon wide angle I had seen wouldn't work on my camera body. This lens will work with F-mount cameras. You can check Amazon at the top by searching for your camera model for compatibility. Also worth mentioning is it does have a focus motor and will auto focus. However it does not have image stabilization which while unfortunate isn't really a necessity. The build quality of the lens is pretty nice. It is a bit on the heavy side, but it feels solid. It also comes with a petal hood to prevent sun flare and a padded lens case. On a DX camera it's worth noting that the 10-20 mm is actually 15-30mm due to crop factor. The only real downside to this lens is that while photos tend to be sharp in the center of the image across all apertures, the corners can become a bit fuzzy. If you want sharper corners you may need to stop down F-8, or F-11. EDIT: I have had the chance to use this lens on a recent trip to Ireland and have decided to share some of the shots taken with this lens. The lens can create some nice sunburst effects as well! I was so pleased with how this lens performed in Ireland. I shot a lot of landscape shots right through the window of the tour bus setting a fast shutter speed. I did get some glare at times, which I may have been able to reduce with a polarizing filter. The lens is great for getting an entire building into the frame of an image, or for some truly stunning landscape shots. If you can't afford to invest a $700-$1000 in a wide angle lens, for the price the Sigma 10-20 F/3.5 is a good lens for the price.

Great quality images from this lens
This lens works great on my Nikon cameras, even my older Nikon D40 camera. Auto-focus works great, even up close. Smooth zoom and manual focus. It’s a great optic and I would buy it again.

Not bad for the price!
Great lens. The autofocus sometimes doesn’t work, and when it does there are some times where it’s not focusing correctly. But using manual focus it’s great. Some minor blur on the sides, but I think this might just be because it’s a wide angle. Used for real estate photography and did an excellent job.

Great quality photos!
This is my new favorite lense for landscape shots! Images are sharp and beautiful. This is my first wide angle lense so I’m loving it. It’s pretty fast, though I did have some issues with catching waves rolling in. Did seem to be a bit of lag. It is so good at capturing sun rays and I’m super impressed with the image quality and color. Love it!

Excellent, SHARP super-wide zoom. Best bang for the buck!
I bought this lens to replace a Tokina 11-16 that was just an overall disappointing purchase (perhaps just a bad sample variation), but this Sigma is FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! I continue to be impressed with Sigma's quality. This is my third Sigma lens and will not be my last. I am using this on a Nikon D3200 and it has not disappointed. I'm looking forward to taking it on a cruise of the PCH for some dramatic coastal landscape work. Pretty darn fast and sharp at F3.5 not that you really need a landscape lens that fast, and just beautifully sharp all the way to the edges stopped up. Don't hesitate. Just buy this lens if you want an affordable wide zoom for DX.

I like the ease of use of this lense for landscape and also indoors and close up shots of people. I can’t contribute technically but I read several reviews before purchasing and provides a quality product at a reasonable price
