I bought this both to connect my iESL energizer to a Chord Hugo TT2 and to try out headphones directly via XLR from the TT2. Works great, as well as a similar cable I got on the best known auction site. Far superior to driving the iESL with the Pro iCAN via HDMI.

The only thing I don't like about this cable is the arrival time (takes about a month for order shipped to the US). Seems to be well built and sounds great with the PecanPi Streamer and Sennheiser HD600/650 headphones. I've paired it with this 4-pin balanced headphone cable:

This is a quality adapter, I used it to connect a pair of XLR 4pin terminated headphones to a dual XLR 3pin terminated amplifier. All looks, and sounds great. One star docked for long shipping time from China.
