Buy it for your Roku TV
It works. Easy to recharge. Buttons function perfect. Better value than buying Roku control. Easy to set up. Great build quality. Simply does what it is supposed to do with no quirks or headaches. Recommended for anyone with a Roku, even if the Roku control still functions. Replace it with this. Will save you $$$$$ on batteries.

Nice remote with lots of compatibility. Could use some improvements.
This remote programmed easily with both my LG Smart TV and original Nvidia Shield using the provided device codes. However, I'm disappointed that the APP buttons aren't programmable with the Shield, even using button remapping apps—the button presses simply aren't registered. The "menu" (three dashes) button also doesn't function correctly on the Shield, acting as a home button instead, even within the remapping app.Despite these shortcomings, the remote offers master volume control, a battery-saving mode, is rechargeable, and otherwise functions as expected with multiple ways to program it for numerous devices.

Best Remote
The remote really surprised me. It worked even better than expected. Out of box it worked with my 2012 Samsung TV and my Roku box. It is very easy to program. It even recognized my AVA-3805 2004 Denon amp.Simple to use and understand. Best remote for the money. Thanks, Gary

Roku Remote for tcl tv
Purchased to see if it could be a rechargeable Roku remote as the Roku remote that came with my tcl tv only has batteries and it drains batteries fast! The Remote is light weight, it has buttons where the numbers/letters/symbols illuminate whenever pressed. has a usb c port at the bottom to charge. I don’t know how long the remote last, out the box it had juice, and for the week of having it’s worked fine. The remote comes with several codes for just about every brand. My tv is a tcl Roku and the first tcl tv code worked. Super easy instructions. Everything works as I wanted. I read other reviews about certain parts of thier remote didn’t work after they programmed like the Disney, YouTube buttons not working or the volume channel buttons not working. I had something similar happen but after further programming everything works just like a Roku remote would.Completely satisfied with this purchase! Will purchase another one for my other tv.

Worked with my LG TV and Apple TV
After living with LG TV remotes and/or Apple’s Apple TV remote, (both of which are non-backlit remotes) I got fed-up enough with having to feel and keep track of which button I was to find the next button I wanted to press I went looking for the hard-to-find backlit remote that works with both LG TVs and Apple TVs. I found this gem of a remote that worked with the first code I saw in the user manual. All I had to do was enter the first LG TV code and the remote immediately worked for the tv and the Apple TV.It is thin (no more bulky LG remotes) and light-weight. It has all the keys you would expect a modern day Media remote to have including streaming app buttons like Netflix. The back-lit buttons are what sets this remote apart. It’s the first remote I have found for LG TVs that is backlit, works with both LG TV and Apple TV by just pressing a single media device button, the “TV” button in my case. I can now sit in the dark and control my tvs.I highly recommend this remote to anyone looking for the same or similar functionality.

NO CHANNEL GUIDE BUTTON!
I recently bought a Samsung QN32Q60DA TV for the bedroom. The remote it comes with is chintzy, basic garbage - no backlight, number keys, streaming keys etc. I used it to do the initial setup and hated it immediately. There's not even an obvious mute button, I had to refer to the manual to find it. After searching for a backlit replacement I purchased this one.Right away I was unable to find a key that would pull up the OTA channel guide (I use an indoor antenna). I had not yet connected the TV to Ethernet to look for channel listings inside apps. I called the distributor, Jasco, and the rep. had me try two keys and then went and asked someone else. When he returned he told me that their universal remotes work with most brands and should control "basic" functions on newer TVs, but aren't guaranteed to do everything the factory remote can. I said channel guides are a basic and important function of a smart TV and they've been around a long time. What good is a smart TV if you never know when programs are on? Even in the '60s you could find out in TV Guide! I swiftly returned this sucker to Amazon. This remote has a button to directly access TV settings, but no button for channel guide - need the Samsung remote for that. It would make infinitely more sense if that were reversed and the Samsung remote was required to access settings, because settings are (usually) only changed occasionally whereas the channel guide is needed many times per day - often many times per hour. This is the second time I've had issues with a Jasco product. The first time, I found a defect in night lights that they were unaware of: the lights turned off in 45 seconds instead of 90 as advertised. After much back-and forth and them asking me dumb questions like "when you are testing these lights are you testing them in the dark?", they finally acknowledged their mistake: they had sent the wrong specifications to their manufacturer in China and the lights were then made with the wrong timers.
