Battery works like a charm...
Honestly, I have a 2011 MacBook pro that I will probably never get rid of so every time my battery dies, I just buy another one. The one I previously had lasted for about 3 years, so I'm expecting the same thing out of this one. Was a really easy fix. All the tools are in the box to make it an easy, smooth process. You can't go wrong with this battery. Well, I guess you can if you buy the wrong one.

I had high hopes for this one....
At first impression was very good. The battery was very well packed and shipped extremely fast. The tools that came with it was even decent. Not super high quality but very good to be coming with a cheap battery replacement. Now for the bad.... 2 days after install I woke up to a burnt smell. The battery had melted a hole it. Luckily it did not damage my laptop as far as I can tell. I installed old battery and everything seems to work. This may have been a fluke but proceeded with caution. This will be the 2nd battery I am returning to Amazon. I think I might just bite the bullet and order one from OWC.

Good battery replacement choice.
Battery is exact replacement for original and works well. Tools were less than impressive; although the Phillips screwdriver worked fine, the three-point screwdriver provided could not solidly hold the screwhead and generate enough torque to remove the three-point screws w/o starting to strip the heads. I took my Mac to somebody with good tools who had no problem changing out the battery. The battery does perform as expected, and at a good price.

Not 7000mAh--Don't waste your time
Just got the battery today and very happy to have a working battery. It's like giving life back to an old friend. The screwdrivers are helpful. The only drawback I see is that the battery isn't what is advertised. The ad says 7000mAh but my Battery Health app reads 91% health and has a max capacity of 6654mAh, not the 7000mAh as advertised.-------------------------------EDITI completely charged the battery and it was slowly losing capacity. I unplugged the computer to test the battery and let it reset. The battery died after about 30 minutes of use. I just got off the phone to Tech Support and they're sending me a refund.

The Battery is Totally Swollen
After 1 year the battery is totally swollen it burst the screws out of the laptop and was protruding from the laptop so now I have no battery for the laptop I always have to plug it in to use it. Since it is a 2011 I won't buy another battery however I still use the laptop. I still had to go out and buy another laptop anyway. This is an apple laptop the battery should have lasted much longer than a year. Now the support is no longer available and the return is no longer available.

UPDATE
The replacement battery lasted only 6 months before failing without any warning signs. I contacted the seller (Orange & Lemon) and was sent a new replacement without question. Very happy with the service I received. I have one cautionary tale for early MacBook Pro users who find they need a new battery. If you replace your battery with an aftermarket unit Apple will not perform ANY service in the future for your computer. This is an Apple policy of which I was unaware. After the replacement battery failure I tried to purchase an original Apple battery from the Apple Store and have it installed by their technicians, but they would not do it. According to the service tech, the only thing you can do to to the early versions of the MacBook Pro is add more memory. Anything else will negate any further service on your machine. I was told on the newer versions of the MacBook Pro that the battery is soldered in place an replacement is impossible. So, going forward, any future battery issues can only be resolved with aftermarket products.

Battery laptop.
This battery did the job. It holds a charge almost as long as the original one did. I would but again.

Holds a charge like it's supposed to
My OEM battery finally schnookered out so I had to buy a replacement. Cheapskate that I am, I went the low-cost route ($21). Battery wouldn't hold more than a 60-minute charge so I tried a $28 battery- same result. This was my 4th battery and it lasts nearly four hours. Wish I'd have started with this one.
