not overly complicated, but if you don't know what you're looking for, this can be intimidating at first. using this basically for a propane leak detector for my vintage camper, but it can be used for so much more. it's a handy tool to have for anyone, i plan to use it at my mother's house to check for natural gas leaks by her meter, it always sorta has that smell, this will tell us for sure. pleased to announce there are no propane leaks on my rig! but i like knowing i can test it at any moment without having to rely on my natural senses which are often times registering a little late in the game. it's also a carbon monoxide detector, so that will also come in handy when i move the rig ever. this is a pricey tool, but when it comes to ensure safety, it feels worth it

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It’s made from quality materials, so it’s pretty rugged. Very easy to use and read! I like how it will check for several things. It detected a leak around my hot water heater, so it definitely works great!

This gas detector has been a reliable tool for monitoring gas safety in my home. It’s designed to detect multiple types of gas which gives me peace of mind knowing I have comprehensive coverage. The sensitivity is impressive it quickly detects even small gas leaks and the audible alarm is loud enough to grab my attention. The digital display is clear and easy to read, showing real time gas levels which is helpful for pinpointing problem areas. It’s lightweight and portable making it convenient to use in different parts of my house.

I got this as a gift for my father in law, he a general contractor. He loves it and says it works great. It comes package in a metal case and for what it does I think that it was a great value. It was very easy to use, we tested it out in our house when we had a gas line put in. It checks for various cases that may leak and it was super easy to use. It is very durable, it was dropped off a ladder and stayed intact.

The media could not be loaded. The sensor reading is inaccurate. In the video that I posted you can see that it's showing elevated levels of explosive gas.I tested the sensor with natural gas and it did elevate. Once the natural gas cleared the area, the sensor returned to zero and then slowly began to creep up. I placed this device outside for a while to see if the sensor would clear along with restarting the device, however, it still showed in proper levels.This is definitely not something I can rely on in my business.

This multi gas detector is a fantastic piece of equipment for keeping an eye on 4 of the most potentially dangerous elements of air quality.Basic use is dead simple; hold down the power button, wait 20 seconds, and all the stats are available. You can also select a screen providing data over time for an individual gas if you need more detailed observations on one or another.So far the measurements make a lot of sense and seem perfectly accurate. Oxygen has been pretty consistent in every environment I've tested, though this meter can't tell me whether I have proper ventilation or my singular wilted snake plant to thank for the constant supply of oxygen. I fortunately have not had any carbon monoxide around to test, but I did spritz some isopropyl alcohol into the air near the device, and the LEL level spiked a fraction of a second later, so measurements appear to be not only accurate but fast updating as well.Also, I love the hard case and custom molded foam, which keeps everything well protected and feels high end as well.

The user interfaces is very intuitive and easy to understand. The screen is bright in the sunshine, I was using it in full sun and the screen was still viewable. I was able to test it and confirm that the oxygen reader was working prior to using it for its intended purpose. The individual measuring screens are nice because they show the range of what is detected. It feels well made. If I had to think of a con, the only thing I would say is that the case feels cheap in comparison to the device. I don't hold that against the product, though. Overall, if you could get your hands on this, I don't think you'd regret your purchase.

Husband appreciates that there are four different sensors to detect four different gases, and I am happy to report that nothing has been detected! There have been fluctuations on the readings, so we know it is working. The device seems well made, with the exception of the USB door. It's really stiff to open, and the door deformed, so it doesn't close evenly any longer unless you really want to work at it. It doesn't protect the charging port from dust or water.We found that the device will not work while it's being charged. Instead of a readout, you get a battery graphic. Is that a safety issue? Possibly. Why can't the manufacturer use the screen to maintain readouts instead of the giant battery while charging?

Both of them are close to what looks like natural gas processing plants, and I sometimes get a whiff of something that makes me a bit worried. “H2S is a toxic gas formed by the breakdown of organic materials. It can be found in natural gas, oil, sewage, swamps, and stockyards and in the processing of pulp and paper.”I have not been to either location since I got this, but I wanted to test its effectiveness. The video shows how quickly it measures and alarms you when bad gas is detected. As you can see, I simply started my truck and held it near the exhaust. The alarm is very loud, so anyone near you would hear it. Or you can leave it somewhere near you and not have to have it strapped to your side all the time.As to the quality, its top notch. The case is unbelievable. If you are going to spend this much on a detector, you’re going to want to have it protected well when in transit, possibly bouncing around in the back of a truck. The unit itself looks bomb proof so the case gives it that much more protection.The buttons and GUI are very intuitive. You can set trigger levels and alarm types, for each gas as well as calibrate. I question the utility of the graphs, which provide long term tracking. The device is well certified. Its something I would trust my life to.All in all, even through this is a pricey detector, its probably worth the investment. Especially if you work in an environment that calls for it. Like a fire extinguisher, its something you hope you never need but something that could really make a difference when seconds count.

This is a very good compact gas leak alarm. The whole purpose is to have an alarm that is loud enough to notify people in the area of some kind of gas leak. This device has 3 level audible alarm, visual flashing and vibration alert for on body alerts. The loud setting is loud. We have 4 propane tanks under our porch and i tested the device on an slight open valve with the alarm going off from about 2 meters away.This device would be ideal for job sites that have these gas operations. In my case we will have this at our non profit office as we have neighbours that have various gas tanks involved with their business.Build quality is very good
