Effortless Programming and Reliable Watering While Away
Theis timer has been an excellent purchase for my yard and garden. It’s very easy to program, simple to use, and the digital display makes everything clear and straightforward. Switching between schedules, manual watering, or using the rain delay is quick and intuitive. The brass inlet and outlet feel solid and higher quality than plastic alternatives, giving me confidence it will last. I especially appreciate how reliable it is—I was able to set it up before going on vacation and my plants stayed perfectly watered the whole time without me worrying. Overall, this timer is great quality, user-friendly, and perfect for everyday use or when you’re away.

Works well and the brass fittings hold up.
The timer works well and is easy to set. The brass fittings are much more durable than the plastic fittings on similar timers. The brass is well worth the extra cost.

Unit is great, but a persistent leak
The programable timer is excellent. It is very easy to program, if functions exactly as intended, doesn't induce water hammer and it is relatively compact. While time will tell, the case looks to be water tight and robust. I would have given the product 5 stars except that I haven't been able to eliminate a persistent drip between the inlet fitting and the house tap. I've tried various gaskets, filed the house tap outlet flat to ensure the gasket has a good sealing surface, and applied a variety of tightening techniques but I can't seem to eliminate the slow leak. I will continue to look for ways to eliminate the leak and will report back on reliability of the unit after a season of use.

Easy to configure and durable
I have only had the item for 1 week, but so far, I love it. It's extremely easy to configure and has been working 100% reliably thus far. The build quality seems great with the brass connectors, and I love that they supply extra washers and enough plumbers' tape, if necessary, to keep water from leaking out between the house or hose connections. I can't say that I needed the tape; however, I used it anyway as a precaution, and there has been no leaking. The scheduling is easy to configure and seems flexible enough for my needs. The only thing I would like to see differently is the ability to tell it to come on every few hours except at night. I saw how I could schedule by the day or hours, but I did not see a way to exclude time windows. Since I have only been using it for one week, I cannot speak to battery life or long-term durability, but so far, so good. I like how the display even has a battery meter to see if the batteries are getting weak.

Works great, easy to use
Great hose timer, easy to set up. I have two, one for 1 year and one I've had for several years now. No problems with either one, and really takes the hassle out of watering the gardens - can go on vacation and know that my gardens are getting watered and I don't have to worry about getting someone to water them while we're gone.

Lack of programming will make this (and most timers of this sort) timer more limited.
I was looking for a timer that had more granular watering options. Most can only water in like 4, 6, 8 hour options it seems. I needed one that could water at least hourly, and I wanted to be able to control the amount of time for each hourly watering. This timer can do hourly waterings, and at the amount of time specified (such as 10 to 15 minutes). However I will say it was still not exactly what I was looking for because I also wanted to be able to specify only a specific span of hours in the day (i.e. 9am to 7pm). This timer could not do that, but the hourly feature got me by until I could get one that was wifi controlled and had programming capabilities that gave me the ability to program the sequence I wanted. So I'll keep this timer because for other purposes it is great, it doesn't leak, and works just fine for what it is. The description stated all this so I knew what I was buying, but as I mentioned, it just got me by until I could find the one that gave me the more control I needed over the watering.

Pretty Good
So far I haven't had any issues. These are currently my go-to for simple drip system installs. They are heavy and seem to have solid construction. No issues with rain or water exposure, or leaking. Controls are simple and again feel solid and responsive. I like the brass fittings for better durability especially considering most hose bibs will be metal as well. Easy to ruin plastic threads when attaching to metal threads, but I'd rather scrap a $3 fitting than an entire controller or have to fiddle with replacing the controllers fittings. They do take AA instead of AAA like so many things, which I kind of like because I have excess now that so many devices take AA. Will be curious to see how long batteries actually last. Worth the money in my opinion, much better than the garbage you'll buy off shelf at Lowes or Home Depot.

Easy to set-up. Output water is a bit weaker than expected.
This is the second unite I bought. The first one was 2-zone model. That unite has small water leakage and one of zone's valve cannot be activated. So I decide to buy one-zone model with brass in/out. Set-up is easy. At the beginning, there were water leakage again, but somehow leakage disappeared after a while. The unite works properly so far except the water output is relatively weak. I am wondering if the internal valve open complexly. I will continue use it and monitor its performance. Hope to gain enough confidence to use when I am away from home.
