Quality blades, great price! Equal to or better than Astra and Derby. Wish the tranches were in sets of 5 instead of 10. Still, a great deal.

These are clearly not fancy blades for home use. I suspect this "salon pack" is intended for several uses in a single day, then recycled and a new blade selected the next day. Myself, I have a beard and shave my neck, so usually a DE blade in my old Gillette razors or modern razor last 3-4 weeks, 6 days a week use. So far, this blade has cut my whiskers just fine without any irritation. A note about extended use. Some post pictures of their blades looking absolutely disgusting. YOU HAVE TO RINSE THE RAZOR OUT. This is not finesse, this is a daily requirement. Simply unscrew the razor a bit, rinse out with hot water, shake dry, then air dry. For added disinfection, I soak the razor in hot water with a little Listerine (instead of Barbicide) added, then shake and air dry. When I remove my DE blades after 4 weeks use, they are generally clean. Some say, "rinse the razor and blade out with isopropyl alcohol," I think that's overkill. But if you're prone to infection, try that. Also ensure you rinse your shaved area with warm water and treat with a good aftershave balm, or aftershave lotion (plain witch hazel works great) followed by a non-comedogenic moisturizer.

Theses are the made in India variety. I typically go back and forth between theses and Astra Greens also made in India.

Blades fit my husband’s old razor & cut is close & smooth after getting use to it.

I guess I am one of the few left that uses a shaving brush, shaving soap and a double edge safety razor (also only use Old Spice Classic aftershave). These are a great deal and the quality is what I would expect from gillette.
