Size:12 Pack This file is great for both professional and enthusiasts alike. 80 grit is the coarsest grit we stock and is the preferred grit for manicure professionals because it is the fastest at removing nail material. If you use a coarse grit for filing nails you will likely want to finish the look using a finer grit like 180 or 240. These nail files are made of high quality raw materials. You may spray them with rubbing alcohol but do not soak. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that may help you. What make these nail files great? They are made from good quality materials Great for both men and women Can be used on enhance and natural nails Can be used on dog toe nails They are 3.5 inches long by 1/2 of an inch wide What do the grits mean? The grit numbers give you an idea of how coarse the abrasive material is. There is no international standard so the coarseness level can vary between manufacturers. The lower the number the coarser the grit is. 80, 100, and 180 are generally considered files while 240, 320 up to 1000 are generally considered buffers. Anything over 1000 is generally used to shine the nail. What is an emery board? Emery (or corundite) is a dark granular rock used to make abrasive powder according to Wikipedia. Basically it’s a nail file like the one we are listing here. How to use a nail file? Hold the nail file against the nail tip and file in one direction. Do not file while your nails are wet. If you find you nails tearing go to a finer grit.

Perfect coarseness - 2 different grits
The mini 4-pk nail files w/two different grits I used to always get have been discontinued. Packaging didn't state what the grits were, so took a guess based on sandpaper we have at home. This is very close, and will do the trick. Neither side is overly coarse, which is my biggest problem with those commonly found in stores. Biggest difference w/my fav nail files is these are not as wide, which I'm okay with. Highly recommend. And great price.

Super Handy!
I love these little files. I decided to try them after I couldn't get my favorite soft files anymore; wasn't sure how it was going to go ordering off the internet. I have very thick, strong nails so filing is essential. These little things are just the thing! They're low-grit, so they don't damage my nails, and they've turned out to be the perfect size to keep in my purse, on my desk at work, in little areas around my house for nail emergencies. Love them! Will be ordering another pack.

Size is perfect, Grit is really fine
If you don't like to use those foot-long nail files, these are the files for you. They are sturdy and well made; they won't come apart after a few uses like regular emery boards. The grit is nice and fine; I can't stand emery boards that feel like they could take chunks out of your nail rather than file them smooth. They will fit in a pocket in your purse, or even your wallet, no problem.

I really like these little disposable files
I really like these little disposable files. I use them to prep a nail before I polish it. They are very gentle and just make a smooth surface without removing the protective layer. Also, sometimes my customer's nails are broken too short for an aggressive file. This is perfect for them but most of the time I use them for prep before polishing. I have purchased these before and they are a great price.

Usable
Was disappointed at first. When I bought this, the description said 3/4 inch wide.. they are definitely 1/2 inch. The description has since been corrected, but I bought these specifically for the wider width as I find 1/2 inch files hard to hold. Other than that, they work great to smooth out small breaks or rough surfaces. I find it hard to tell which side is which grit after the first few uses, but that's just the nature of the grit anyhow and nothing against the seller or maker. I use these multiple times a week.

well made and great size
been buying these for years in bulk just for my personal use. love the small size. they wear down fairly quickly as i use them to shorten nails as well as touch up but for the price that’s ok. the grit is perfect. very well made.

BEST FILES EVER!!!
Perfect for any kind of nail. Not to rough. Enough grit to file a rough edge without tearing up your nail and also file down length if needed. Can be used on baby nails (as nail clippers should never be used on newborns).
