The thread checker works well, accept there were a couple of screws and bolts that matched with the metric and standard threads on the board. I had to double-check them with the thread board at Home Depot.

Something like this has been on my wish list for years. I never really wanted to spend the money and had multiple plastic gauges over the years. But they all broke and are a pain to judge if you have metric and imperial thread like I have. For some time, I contemplated to buy a screw and a nut for each thread but if you do the math, you realize that this is very costly too and you still have to mount them somehow.Then enters the SEESII thread checker.... this is very heavy, sturdy and feels solid. The board is clearly marked and has rubber feet to place it on a solid work bench. It is heavy enough to not slide around. I did mount it on the wall next to my cabinet where I have the hardware. I used two hooks that allow me to take it off the wall if needed. Having it on the wall is easier as you typically just want to check quickly a screw. When I am sorting a lot, I take it off and use on the workbench.

This is as complete a range of sizes in a thread checker that I've seen. I have the ones on a metal cable that are free spinning and difficult to use, the plastic cheap kind that don't last or do a good job, and even a smaller version of one similar to this. One unique aspect of this is that it includes 8 drill size holes which are handy. It's clearly labeled, and on a thick piece of aluminum alloy of some sort. It's got both metric and SAE rulers to measure the length of a fastener, which is handy if you're trying to identify a fastener, and better than reaching for a tape measure which I've had to do countless times. There are nice thick rubber pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding, and of course you can hang it too, just be aware of the length, and it weighs a decent amount, almost 3 pounds. Really nice thread checker, nothing to complain about. (It would be nice if the price were lower, but that's everything anymore, and you do get what you pay for sometimes.)

I first started wanting one of these when the hardware store installed something similar so we could match up hardware... and I wanted one since. Made the mistake of a cheap plastic one, and won't do that again.This is built commercial grade, and it's way better quality than the one in the hardware section of the local hardware store. No more guessing what hardware I need, then only realizing when I'm back from the store run that I got the wrong size. Length, diameter, and thread pitch can all be confirmed easily- and since it's heavy duty, it will last and be accurate. The plastic ones can rethread to match whatever you put on it- this is ALL metal and will stand up to use. I'm restoring two vintage cars, and some modern replacement parts require mixing modern metric with the old standard stuff- and this will come in handy. You can use it to compare specs to the build manuals to make sure each of those different fasteners go where they belong- one mistake on many cars can mean leaks or even a broken coolant gallery- requiring a new engine.Overall, this is the best version of one of these that I've ever seen and wish I had it decades ago.

The media could not be loaded. Everything checks out on this checker. I like having one that can be self contained and just hang somewhere in addition to the traditional multi piece ones you'd take with you. My only issue with this one is some of the threaded rods were not secure, so I will have to add thread locker myself. I have it on hand, but if I didn't I'd have been more annoyed than I am.

Impressive design, it has feet on the back so you can set it on a table or hang it on a wall if you'd like. Very solid construction, heavy aluminum backplate and threaded posts are sturdily pressed into place. Threads that are cut into the back plate are done so precisely, no rough edges or burrs.

This thread checker is a great tool to have. It is very useful to be able to check such a wide range of nuts and bolts. This product seems well made, and I am quite happy with it.
