Pentax 85226 Q Vintage Leather Case (Brown)

This case is the same leather case that Pentax sells for $99 - for the Pentax QAt that price I think it is too expensive -It is a very nice 'vintage' case with that 'vintage' look and feel to it also.This case gives it a nice bit of protection form both the weather and the daily bumpswithout increasing the overall size of the package too muchHowever, the leather strap that comes with this case does not fit properly to the cameraso you will have to use the Pentax strap that comes with the Q.Also the part of the case that attaches to the Q by the screw into the tripod supportmeans one has to take the Q completely out of the case to use the Q on a tripod.Also, this same part covers one of the two microphone holes for the stereo microphones for the camera.The battery and SD card doors are also covered by the part of the case that attaches to the body of the Q.On the plus side - the case itself helps to support the camera in your hands once it is unsnapped and unfolded.But for either storage or for traveling - this is a good case for protection, looks & feel.It compliments the quality of the Q itself.For shooting - it is easily unsnapped and stuffed into the pocket the Q came fromThus I would recommend this to anyone who would be looking for a leather case for their Q & can get it at a discount
