This 3 Piece Window Film Installation Kit is handy to have around when applying window film to windows.The first time that I applied window film to a single large pane of window glass I used a small spray bottle that I have had lying around the house for years and a dry cloth. It seemed to take all day long to smooth the water and air bubbles from between the window film and the window glass. The arm that I used to do the smoothing shook from fatigue for a long time afterward.I installed window film on a second window but before I did a third window I decided to look into getting some window film installation tools, at the bare minimum, a squeegee. This little kit came along at just the right time.Using this window film installation kit I was able to install window film on a third window in less than an hour. This little kit is a huge time and muscle saver!If this window film kit came with usage directions I misplaced them.As I was cutting the window film along the edge of the window pane the bladed end of the scalpel like carving knife fell off in my hand. Not a big deal, the blade end of the carving knife screws on and off probably for replacing the blade, but, the blade falling off in my hand surprised me. I was annoyed about that until I figured out how to screw it back on to the handle.Using the carving knife included in this kit I had trouble cutting the window film evenly along the edge of the window pane. I really enjoyed feeling like I was cutting the window film using a doctor's scalpel, however, I have to admit that I lack a doctor's skill to be able to use a scalpel correctly!Even though I wish that the squeegee was a bit longer, I would recommend ordering this 3 Piece Window Film Installation Kit before installing window film.

For the price, this is a great set to have just what you need to apply window cling. Even with careful cutting, I did end up using the little knife to trim the edges where the window caulking was a bit off. Water sprat bottle and squeegee were also absolutely necessary for application of the window cling. Very easy process.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to install what I ordered this to help me install. The equipment looks solid, and it is a comparable price. I'm just not able to test them.

This is a very simple and cost effective set to assist with the installation of window film. It has the tools necessary to make the job much easier. I tried installing film on a window at home before having this set, and while it went okay, it was a much smoother installation process with this kit.

I used this kit to install some blackout tint over my windows. The knife blade seemed a little flimsy, but it got the job done. The sprayer and felt squeegee were nice to use, but I started with the felt squeegee and moved to using a towel since it covered more space. I went back to using the small squeegee in order to get air bubbles out. This kit was very nice to have for this situation.

I hesitated ordering this feeling I might not need it but without this kit I wouldn’t have been able to install the window film I purchased.The kit comes with everything you need to install window tint/film. The spray bottle helps you maneuver the film in place, the squeegee remove the excess water and air bubbles and finally the blade removes the excess material. Every component worked well and couldn’t have installed the film without it. A must have set for a great price.

Great kit, very convenient.

This is a cheap tint install kit.It will do the job, but there are better ones out there. The spray bottle is really small and not good for large tint jobs as you will have to refill it often. The blade is nice and sharp and you can replace the blade top with exacto blades. The squeegee it great quality, it has a felt lined end so you dont scratch anything, its firm yet flexible. Overall its a good cheap kit. The only thing I would change is the size of the spray bottle.
