Children of Eden: A Novel

On reading the first few chapters of this book I wasn't completely sure on how much I would like it, however I did want to give it a chance and I did soon get hooked and felt like I was a part of the story. As the book takes you through the many twists and turns it has to offer I couldn't personally find it in myself to put it down and this is coming from someone who hardly reads books!The chemistry between Rowan and certain characters is so well written and you feel her motions and attachments to other characters with her!!I haven't really had this sort of connection with a book before so much so that I felt quite emotional as it was coming to the end.Overall the whole story was incredible however the ending did confuse me slightly leaving me with many questions which leads me into thinking that there would be a second book, if that is the case I will be first in line to get it!!Lastly all I can say is bravo Mr. Graceffa, you have produced a truly magnificent piece of work!!

This book is incredible! I have been a fan of his for ages now and I can honestly say I have never been more proud of him. The artwork of this book is stunning and the time and effort he has put into writing this book shines through so bright. This book is worth every bit of money you have and you wont regret buying it, just like I don't. This book is so imaginative and anyone can read it, I highly recommend this book to everyone! I have started reading it and it pulls you in and you just cant stop yourself from reading on. I don't normally like reading book but this book has completely changed my mind! This is an interesting YA Sci-fi book set in a dystopian future on Earth after the Ecofail (when the Earth died, which might be more fact than fiction before long). We follow the protagonist Rowan a teenager confined to living in secret while her family go about their business as usual and hide her from the outside world. Soon however her whole world will change but is it for the better?The concept of Eden, the new land where humans live controlled by AI is really interesting and well done although a little predictable at times.It’s a good storyline, although not the most complicated plot, you know where it’s going but it has some nice likeable characters and it goes along at a good pace. It is exciting albeit a little immature at times, however it makes for some easy reading.I really enjoyed the ideas and themes in this book: the EcoFail, the EcoPanoptican which looks after/controls all humans and what it means to be free. The story however is so close to the book 1984 and the concept of big brother it felt almost like plagiarism at times. It has some of the same ideas throughout and on occasions it is incredibly similar. If you liked this book and haven’t read 1984 you should definitely give it a go.I’m rating this 3.5 (it would higher but I feel some of the ideas are not exactly original) however I am rounding up as it was a good enjoyable read, rounding down wouldnt be fair.

You are reading through the eyes of Rowan, a girl who was born a twin but also born into a world that allows only one child per house hold due to limited resorces and human population control, After 16 years of being hid away from the rest of civilization she climbs over the walls that keep her safe and embarks on a dangerous journey. Follow Rowan on a journey like no other! I can honestly say after reading a few of the chapters I have lost myself in the pages and my imagination is taking over my body. After watching this amazing youtuber for the last few years and reading his autobiography i just had to buy his book, and i knew it was going to be a great book as hes very creative, if you want a book where you are the star of the show you, you are in there world living the life of the book, then this book is for you, its such a great story line, and is such a great read, i loved the book so much im even reading it a second time round, love it

Omg love this book so much literally Joey you need to make this into like a hunger games obsession literally I want more books like NOW and then films and non ending books jsut on and on and on because you have a talent you know how to make me happy I live futuristic technology things I couldn't agree with you more in that Joey I love you so much and you have great taste in book genres everyone should buy this book and read it hope it gets into bestsellers good luck Joey!!!!!!!!!

My son enjoyed the book however the actual quality or the product was appalling. Considering the price of it I was very disappointed as it was twisted and the cover peeled off after 2 days.

Bought for my 12yr old neice ,thought I'd check that it was a suitable read ,an didn't put it down till the end hope she enjoys it as much as I did an don't mind the slightly creased pages.😄

Very interesting book and different from others, i could imagine myself being rowan and could see the forest, i too like the message conveyed by itAlso I love joey graceffa's videos

This is a great book and the series is also worth getting. An enjoyable read.
