I loved the quiet operation. There’s no loud ticking like a traditional mechanical timer. It's subtle and non-disruptive, making it perfect for study sessions.The cute animal design is attractive and engages kids very well. It’s easier for them to understand how much time they have left just by looking at the disc. The volume control is a nice touch, too. You can also choose between a short 3-second ring or a full 60 seconds, which is great, depending on the task.I would had appreciated further if this timer had some more granularity in terms of minutes, like we could use the same full circle for 5 mins. It requires 2 AAA batteries, which aren't included. Another minor issue is that sometimes the instructions to turn off the alarm are a bit fiddly. You have to turn the dial to “5” and then back to “0” quickly, which took a few tries to get right.Overall, this cute timer is perfect for both adults and kids. The lack of ticking, simple design, and the ability to visually track time make it an effective tool.

This is perfect for home education. We set tasks for a certain amount of time and I use myAmazon Alexa for this but my son constantly wants to know how much time is left or how much longer he has to do a task for etc. This visual clock helps him concentrate 👍easy to use .

This is a really nice quality timer made of durable plastic. It doesn’t come with batteries, so you will need to supply those. The motion is smooth, and it’s very easy to set the time—just turn the dial. We got the one with a pretty design of whales and dolphins, which is quite fun for the children to look at. The blue one will appear, adding to the fun.It makes a high-pitched beeping sound when the timer runs out, so there’s no chance of missing it, lol. It’s small and compact, but very useful to have around the home for timing cooking lessons or simply setting a timeout for your children. I totally recommend this item.

This timer is a great idea for kids to learn the concept of time. It works well although you do need to insert your own batteries as they are not included. Mine is in my kitchen as my grandkids like to ask me how long til lunch, dinner etc and they can see for themselves how long they need to wait. The high pitched beep is a bit too much for me but you can turn it off. However then it loses its effectiveness at letting you know when time is up! The visual aspect is great but it is quite expensive for what it is.

This item arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a giftable box that included instructions.PROS-The time is ready to go right out of the box and includes 2 AAA batteries (thanks!).-I am grateful that this uses AAA batteries rather than the coin shaped lithium batteries that tend to be in appliances this small.-It could not be simpler to set, simply turn the knob clockwise. I much prefer this to digital timers which require several buttons presses to set.-The space indicator is a great visual cue and easily visible from across a large room.-This timer is a good size (hand sized), lightweight and sturdy, I have 2 similarly sized hygrometers and they top over easily but this does not.-This company also sells a pizza and a rainbow variant, both of which are slightly less expensive.CONS-The product is advertised as "No loud ticking" but it definitely has audible ticking, like the sound of an old fashioned clock. While the ticking is not enough to be disruptive for me, it is indeed noticeable.-This timer only goes up to one hour which is fine for most kitchen tasks I need it for but unsuitable for longer tasks such as cooking ribs, using a slow cooker, roasting a turkey, etc. so keep that in mind before ordering.-This product feels a bit flimsy, like it might crack or break if I accidently dropped it.-TBH, I feel like $20+ CAD is more than I would like to pay for this product, but a quick search of Amazon reveals that it is comparably priced with other comparable products. I blame inflation :DOverall, This is a perfectly functional, easy to set, themed timer.
