Undersized wire ampacity
Main issue with this cable assembly is that the wire is only 18 gauge - not the 14 gauge needed to support a 15 amp load. Don't go by the fuse size of 15 amp to figure the load rating. The 18 gauge wire is only rated for 3 amps which is good enough for low power applications but anything higher will result in excessive voltage drop on the cable causing problems or even damage to your equipment. Reported by a electrical engineer.

Very happy and surprised, great quality, awesome price too!.
So, I needed a socket like this to plug in some warning lights into that works off a switch and doesn't take up my accessory outlet in the car. Ya know, basically dash mounted warning lights for my volunteer gig, taking up 1 of only 2 cigarette plugs in the car. So, now the new set up is a wire from the battery to a switch to this outlet which is really cool because it already has an inline fuse, I ran under the dash out of the way and my dash lights plug into this. I just leave that switch already in on position. I didn't cut the wire because of warranty on the dash lights. Either way, very happy with the quality and copper wire and 2 spare fuses if ever needed. I'm actually going to buy 2 more of these and stick 1 in the trunk and another in the back seat area under a console.

Be careful.
This product worked well at first. It failed in the end.I take some measure of responsibility for the failure.I was going to move the battery the cord was connected to so coiled up the cable. The "insulated" wire touched the top of the battery. I moved it to a chair and the cable caught on fire. I suspect the insulation material is very thin or not as insulating as it should be.I might use this product again but would be very cautious of what the insulated wire touches.

DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED FUSE SIZE
The quality of this item is exceptionally high, but unfortunately it is overshadowed by the fact that the provided cable gauge is way too low to match the provided fuse size. To run a 30 amp fuse, it should be 10awg and to run 15amp it should be 14awg. However, this kit is 16awg. This means the MAX fuse size is 7.5amps ! I am not an electrical engineer or an electrician, so don't quote me on this. I changed my fuse from the provided one (I believe it is a 15 or a 25) and replaced with a 7.5amp fuse.

Works well for me
I ordered this to install on my Yamaha Majesty maxi-scooter. I wired it directly to the battery in the back of my bike. I know others have said the eyelets were too small, but they worked perfectly with the smaller battery my bike uses. I drilled a hole going from the battery area through my seat tub into the storage area under my seat. I had to cut the 2 wires, feed them through the hole, then use crimp connectors to splice them back together. The fuse holder sits right behind the battery. I keep it coiled up with a velcro cable strap in the storage area to charge my phone or run other accessories. I tested it with a small air compressor I keep in my bike and it worked fine with no issues. It seems well made and study. Time will tell how well it holds up.The hardest part of installation was removing all the plastic body panels to access the battery area and then put everything back together.

Great for use with smaller batteries and small battery terminals
I specifically sought out a socket plug adapter with small ring terminals because I wanted to use it with a small 12-volt, 18-amp battery. The standard ring terminals on most socket plug adapters are generally much larger because they are made to be attached to car batteries which have large terminals. Large ring terminals wouldn't have worked in my application but the small terminals on this unit worked perfectly. A fuse is incorporated into the wiring and two additional fuses are included as well. The spare fuses are attached to the wiring in a small bag so that you won't have to scrounge around for a spare fuse if your main fuse blows. Very well thought out and convenient design.

Terminals Too Small
Got this for my 5th wheel to fill the tires. Surprisingly even though most RV's run on 12V, there are no 12V outlets especially on the outside. I have 2-Group 27 batteries in a small compartment and I reamed the 1/4" terminal to fit the 5/16" studs of the batteries. I'll be able to reach all four tires with this outlet using a small air compressor. This socket and cable is extremely well made with extra fuses in a small zipper bag attached to the fuse holder.

Eyelets won't fit on RV battery terminals
I hoped to just attach this cable to the deep cycle battery in my RV, and use the cigarette plug to power a portable air pump for pumping up the tires. However, the ring connectors on the cable are not even close to big enough to fit on the battery terminals. I don't know if there are batteries with smaller terminals, but it seems this product can not be directly connected to a typical car or RV battery. Instead, I cut off the leads below the inline fuse and wired the cable in to the RV's 12VDC fuse panel. The fuses that came with the cable fit my WFCO panel just fine.
