I keep reaching for this delightful little cube of paint pens for various tasks around the house. They're the kind where you push down the end and the wick gets soaked, and they work effectively like little mini paintbrushes that dispense acrylic paint; that makes them perfect for a wide variety of marking tasks on surfaces where nothing else will work (especially laser cut wood), as well as touch-ups and various other arts and crafts.The storage box isn't anything particularly resilient, but it includes a plastic base that keeps everything stable which is enough to keep these all together as a set. A slightly swankier outer box would have been appreciated, though at well under a dollar a pen, I'm happy with the overall value of the kit as it is.

: I ordered the 48-color acrylic paint pen set and I love the variety of colors and shades which work well with skin and natural light tones. This set definitely contains some premixed colors that are not available in other professional artists paint lines. I use acrylic paint pens along with acrylic paints that I’ve brushed on since the pens allow me more control drawing lines—these pens create a 3.0 point line which is slightly larger than a lot of paint pens which are 2.0 nibs (both are good, use the size that works best in that situation). These paint pens apply thinly and smoothly and dry quickly accordingly. The paints are highly opaque. Excellent acrylic paint pens. Be sure and shake them up before each use to mix.

Stuff I like about these acrylic markers:- Arrtx is a really nice budget-friendly art supply brand with pretty product designs- Fun paint markers! And lots of them for the price.- Colors are mostly true to the caps and very vibrant- Easy to use shake and pump, and the ink rolls out for painting- The barrels are clear and there's a gauge to see how much acrylic ink is left in the pen, which is super convenient (if you know how to refill acrylic ink pens, these could last you a really long time too!)Stuff to watch out for:- Even though I think Arrtx products are very pretty to look at, I'm not a fan of the stands their products come in. Since you can see the marker colors on top, these are a little easier to deal with than their colored pencils. And I think people who use lots of markers might be used to the top-down packaging. But if you're not, this can be annoying.Overall it's a really nicely designed set of budget-friendly acrylic markers for crafts. Arrtx is doing a really great job in this regard.

I have another set of Arrtx Acrylic Pens, and this set is a glorious addition! Love these things. They blend when wet, they dry fast, and they are nice and opaque.The nib is a nice round nib, and there are so many things to use these on in my mixed media explorations.

I saw a tutorial awhile back that used dots to make a design on cardstock to make your own 'printed' paper. The teacher was using markers with a round tip. While I have plenty of markers, most have brush ends or fine tip pens. So seeing these markers I was happy to try them out and see if they will be good for making dotted paper. These pens have 3 mm nibs and make fine dots. You can make your dots to any size depending on the pressure you apply to the marker. While swatching the 36 colors, I tried out a solid blob, thin lines and dots. I also was able to try to make dots in different siazes. I was able to make a round circle about 7-8 mm in size. The size would be perfect for making dots/drops to accent a design. The set includes both silver and gold ink markers. The many colors in the set will help you be able to make accent dots in just about any color.I especially like the color selection in this set. Besides the gold and silver, you also get black and white, and a selection of bright colors that are the colors I reach for with any set of markers, pens or pencils when I am coloring something. I accidently got my hand in some fresh ink and managed to smear it against the spot where I would be swatching a different color. I went ahead with it and colored in the color and it completely covered the oops. Then I intentionally marked an area with a dark color. When it was dry I marked over it with a lighter color, and the dark color was gone! The colors are opaque. I don't think you can blend these colors unless possibly when they are wet. For me this is a great set of colors and I am happy with it. I am sure others might not like the color selection, but I sure do.I appreciate the opportunity to try these markers. Thank you.`

I love the wide range of colors available in this kit. The colors are vibrant and match what's on their cap. The ink flows well as long as you give it a good shake first. The tip is just wide enough for a good flow without sacrificing control and the ability to paint details.

I've seen these all over TikTok and was curious to try them out since I'm usually a diehard Posca fan. In my opinion, they are the closest rival to Posca that I've tried. The color selection in this pack is delightful, the nibs are replaceable (it comes with a few), and the overall experience is high quality. I love the opacity of the paint they lay down and that there's no noticeable streaking, flaking, or other weirdness. I didn't have any issues with flooding or leaking from any of the markers. I do like that they include a plastic grid to help stand the markers up with but it'd be nicer if it came in a zippered case and not a cardboard box if they're going that route but that's just me being picky. These are great and I feel that the price is pretty well matched to the quality of what you're getting.
