Nice bright colors and the size was great, but it took forever to get enough air in side areas. Directions said there was an adapter piece to add air and/or water. It was not included as it said making it much harder to fill with air and water. After getting it filled, the items that were floating just stuck to the top of the mat and didn't move. PLUS the side seam connecting the side and bottom sprung a leak. It wasn't my cat's fault as she wouldn't do anything but lay and look at it. Without the adapter I couldn't remove the air and water from the mat, so in frustration I slit it with a knife. TOTAL WASTE of my time and money. I am very disappointed and frustrated. And my cat still doesn't have a new toy or interest activity.

This is very cute I saw it on a video on social media one day and I had to buy it! I have 7 cats so I was sure one of them would be interested in playing with it, they were not lol but I still love it because it's such a cute idea and it's durable so holes can't be poked into it by the cats, they just like to lay on it I don't think they understand what it's actually for lol it's not super big but it also isn't small, it's a good size for any one single cat at a time or a couple of kittens. I recommend it if you run any kind of rescue or animal shelter and have cats.

Cat popped right away

We know all cats can be finicky about new toys but this time it was the product. There are actually two plugs that have to be filled with water. The border section and the large middle section. No part came with it in order to get the water inside. Even using my smallest kitchen funnel I could only put water in the larger middle section and not the border. The floating pieces for the most part just stacked together and you had to keep trying to separate them. My cat after checking it out just walked away and never approached it again. He loves chasing and hitting things that move, but not this toy.

The product delivers in terms of visual quality - it seems sturdy enough to withstand kitty claws for a respectable amount of time to make the purchase worthwhile. Putting water in was easy.However, the cat refused to go near it. The chemical off-gassing smell was so bad we put the water mat in the garage. The next morning, the entire garage had a chemical PVC smell that gave me a headache. Even after 4 days, the mat smelled like we had just taken it out of the box. By that point, mold began to grow in the water because it was in the hot garage. We threw it out.In my opinion, no, I would not purchase this item and no I would not recommend this item.

I thought that my cat would raise her nose to this, but she actually loves it. She doesn’t play with it, but rather she sleeps on it. It’s her own personal waterbed. LOL! I think I filled it too full which makes the edges bend in, but I’d rather leave it alone since she likes it so much. And once it was ready to go, even the dogs wanted to see what was up! Plastic is thick and seems durable. I don’t know about a catnip excited kitty, but it should fare well if treated kindly.

Meow everybody! I’m very playful but couldn’t engage w new water mat! I watched my human set it up but I just couldn’t go near it—maybe it’s the strong vinyl odor—I love to smell stuff & mat stinks—my human showed me video of kittens having great time & moved all the fishy items about in the mat to entice me but I’m a year old now & no longer a kitten—I think my human wanted to surprise me but I am not at all attracted to water play mat…my big sister Panther shows no interest either…maybe if it smelled like catnip or cod we’d be more inclined to investigate…maybe if it airs out we might have a go at it…purr purr the end.
