I returned this item because I bought it for my Autistic grandson and the shapes are small enough to put in your mouth and is a checking hazard! The picture makes you think that this is a big container and big shapes. NOT AT ALL!

I was somewhat surprised to see how small this bucket was! I was expecting huge but it is super compact, much to my delight! I like that the shapes each can open with one of the sides removable. Although, I don’t know if I would feel comfortable taking on and off too many times. They don’t seem like they’ll stay together if you try to reattach to many times. It’s kind of a loose connection.One thing of concern to note is the choking potential. Since these pieces are so small they pose great risk so make sure your child is completely out of any “putting things in mouth” phase. Supervision is crucial of course.These are really fun and great learning tools. The Acrylic is crystal clear and it’s easy to shine light Thru multiple items to mix colors. (I.e. a red and a yellow cube overlapping to make orange.) These work as great visual aid when trying to teach complex concepts to children of a wide range of ages.I recommend these, especially to educators, but can be great for countless creative projects as well.
